    Pretty sure iOS 3 -> iOS 4 -> iOS 5 is free.
    You were probably referring to desktops, but mobile is a different beast.

    Is this a free upgrade for anyone already running WP7?
    I guess the name, as silly as it is, makes sense now. Windows Phone is only on phones (as opposed tablets) and gets FREE upgrades. Windows 8 does not.

    I should have clarified I felt it was a stupid mentality, thus agreeing with his point. You can't be angry when Company A copies Company B's product, but perfectly okay when Company B copies Company A's product.

    You either think copying an idea is fine or not.

    If there were absolutely no compatibility issues between Android handsets that would be true.

    Sans-Android you would write your app for those 6 OSs
    With-Android you write for iOS, WP7, BB, and the dozens of different android devices individually.

    Yes I was talking about OWS with regards to protesting. So we're in agreement.
    In order to have a successful protest you need a lot of people, however the more people you have the more likelihood you have the kind of people that shouldn't be protesting. Y U NO TAKE US SERIOUSLY

    How about: There aren't any. For them to even be visible, their campaign funds are bought and paid for by their corporate masters OWS (and other Occupy) are incredibly large, yet being ignored. Specifically targeting the violence at the problem (Government) wouldn't be considered terrorism??

    There is a way to opt-out of the upgrade and also to downgrade if you happen to get it.

    What do you plan to use otherwise? Chrome does the same thing, so you're stuck with IE and Safari.

    IE (9+) and Safari don't show a status bar either, so I guess he'll use Opera?

    You do know that the iPhone isn't exclusive to AT&T anymore, right? And that AT&T wasn't even Apple's first choice? What incentive would Apple have to deliberately limit the iPhone to less people?

    PNGS are used for more than just rounded corners and gradient backgrounds.

    Bandwidth may be increasing, but not caps

    I also doubt “Tomorrow‘s Internet” will use Flash
