    It's no laughing matter, but it's not treason. Treason is defined in the Constitution and this ain't it.

    The "benefit" can't be something that exists separately from the Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. I've had it suggested to me that without the Fifth Amendment, the police would just beat people into confessing. But of course the right not to be beaten by the police is separate from the right to remain silent.

    "Of course"? On the contrary, the two are directly linked.

    If you don't have a 5th amendment right against self-incrimination, then the burden of proof is on *you* as to whether your "confession" was indeed beaten out of you.

    GMT is a geographical division. So even if you're on DST, you're still in GMT, NOT GMT+1. The zones do not shift just because of DST.

    Wrong! A time zone don't change; it is defined by its UTC offset. When you go to DST, you change by changing your time zone. Here on the East of the US, we do it by changing our zone from Eastern Standard Time (EST, UTC -5 hours), to Eastern Daylight Time (EDT, UTC -4 hours). In Britain, they do it by changing their zone from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT, UTC +0 hours) to British Summer Time (BST, UTC +1 hour).

    Pac Man wasn't 8K. It was 4K, which is one reason it sucked so badly. Tod Frye begged for 8K but Atari wouldn't let him have it. Ms Pac Man got an 8K ROM.
