    This was addressed in the video. THe BR are loaded by apploader, and those keys are not leaked. (but with rootkey leaked you can write an other apploader to load unsigned BR). Currently you need some usb jailbreak to get your first code on the ps3

    But they still would require to allow it to behave as a standard common charger if the authentication failed.

    If (big IF) it is Home brewed, there is still one mayor thing. The PS3 Network. Once you open up the console for "homebrew" sony network(for multiplayer games) software might be able to detect that. Sony can ban (or even brick) the hardware form the PS3 network. SO if you want to be on the network AND play "backups"you need 2 PS3 consoles. Sony will be happy to sell you more consoles.

    And do not be confused about this, sony is much more aggressive about cracks than nintendo. They fixed the 2.41 overflow quite fast, and made the fix mandatory in the PS3 Network.

    Yes, the game is designed that you need a number of contacts (facebook favorites) to reach a higher level. The game is designed to increase the number of players.

    But you have to keep in mind that creating "clone" accounts is not forbidden, it is even encouraged this way. So the 70 million figure is heavily inflated (i guess) by clone accounts. My better half is playing this games, as are my dog, fish, rabbit, bird, and.. well you get the picture. But even with a high number of clone accounts 70 millions is still impressive.

    Any spare bones that are created in the E.R. center, are taken by surgeon "name of my dog".

    Well first: i drive a prius.

    Only place where the silence of the car was a problem was driving at a camping site at very low speeds. Setting the airco fan to max fixes that enough.

    If they actually asked blind people they would know that bikes are a bigger problem for them. How about downloadable tunes for your bi-cycle?

    Nat only wil be sold as lowly "browse and mail" , for gaming you need the advanced internet subscription. The provider cannot help this becuase of the limited amount of ipv4 adresses available.

    The camera he moves is the camera taking the image of the screen. He is not using screen capeturing technology to post the image to youtupe, he is using an external camera to take screenshots.

    Somewhere in the video he is moving to the back, and then the effect disappears completely.If he was using a live stream for the background then the fact that depth information was lost, he should have been appeared, From this fact you can assume his using a static image where he uses the depth camera to make a preadator like effect. Looks nice, but technically not very interesting.

    I must admit i do not often work with multiple branches, but one problem i see here is that patches are kept very long in a branch, because some developers do not like it to be called stable. As soon as it is stable they should stop tinkering and get assigned something else OR other people will see their bugs in stable.... and they just as well could keep in in the branch.

    ueeuh, this story is about the splitting of the waters. that is described in genesis (old testament => part of bible...) ,I think day 3:

    transition off CA's Datacom database between 1996 and 1998.

    What do you know about databases in 1997? The market at that time was completely different. And even then CA already was buying companies they could maximize profits of by maximizing licencing costs and minimizing support.

    With steam online DRM you have a bigger problem: YOu think you bought the game. But STEAM can take it away from you whenever they want.

    -Steam (/valve) goes out of business or gets bought?
    -They think you cheated?
    -Someone steals your account. (And you never get to find out how...)

    In all those cases it becomes clear you never bought the game. YOu licensed it (with a long text most never read or fully can understand)

    That is why i don't buy from steam, you never truely sure you will get to keep what you bought.

    THis might be the weak point. Suppliers cannot change to a ASIC in a later phase, unless intel licenses the atom cpu. (right....). The biggest advantage of atom is de x86 development tools and applications (windows). The Quick to Market is a big win there. However to optimize power/price in a later phase is not possible.
