Airplanes will FALL FROM THE SKIES!
did happen in/11 sept/2001, not in 2000. elevator, THEY'LL FALL!
did you see the movie:"de lift (the 13th floor)". right, programing error. Withdraw all of your money or YOU'LL LOSE IT!"
paypal. (no need to say more on/.
it is explained here at theinquererfor windows. Basically it mean if a applcation is licenced for a single processor it will use the first processor(even if i is a dual processor system.
There are no real problems if: -You buy licences for real processors and the software does not check it. -The software runs only on the number of (real)processors it is licences for: it just does not use the hyper threading. (This is the case for the current windows XP & windows 2000)
There is a problem -The software aborts if it detects more (real) processors than it is licenced for. I do no know such software. Or it is software that is tied so close to hareware it fails anyway if it is put on new hardware.
Note that you can still disable hyperthreading in the bios.
Well a lot of mod points get the wrong direction lately. Too bad.
A big difference between kazaa & freenet is that freenet only a communication protocol. The searching for files requires an application on top of freenet. standard you get a "proxy" for freenet so you can browse freenet like the internet. But there is not yet a google on freenet, THe other popular appilication on freenet is "frost". This a messageboard where people exchange "links(chk keys)" that contain interesting "documents/files"
We present a novel reversible (lossless) data hiding (embedding) technique, which enables the exact recovery of the original host signal upon extraction of the embedded information......
(oops, something went wrong with my previous post)
I cannot read the ieee link (the abstract is for members only) but google found this abstact for me:

With our new data embedding algorithm, authorized recipients not only can extract the embedded message but also can recover the original image intact, identical bit for bit to the image before the data was added," he said. "The technique offers a significantly higher capacity for embedding data and/or a lower-distortion than any of the alternatives."
So i read this as "it can be lossy if you want it to. "
And i just discovered that deamon tools support this new "physical properties" of the new securom with the use of MDS files. So you can copy also the new secucom cd's to HD and keep the orinal cd's in the safe.
just make an image with clone cd and mount that image with deamon tools in a virual cd-rom. If you have a big HD you can have a lot of cd's ready to play.
Don't enable "securom" emulation in daemon tools. deamon tools already delivers sub-data correctly and make it a good copy.
I made a couple of coasters trying to burn this image to cd.
I learned gestures on opera. On mozilla they are different, I want my opera settings under mozilla, and i don't want to spend time programming it, if that is possible. (I want to save time).
Why are the gestures under mozilla different from opera? don't blaim XUL!
pure distilled water would be good. But the moment it touches you pc components its gets contermintated with all the dust that collected in your pc. It becomes a conductor.
Bye bye electronics.... you could use special oil....
Although i heard some stories of people dropping a soda (accidentally) in their pc. After cleanup they lived happely ever after.
It's just like xandros that includes the crossover pluging for the xandros 1.0 $99 product.
If you want a debian clone instead of a suse clone.

With the early 486 cpu's we had the extra fpu chip
In the 80486 it was already integrated. It was a seperate chip in the 80286 timeframe.
In the 80486 time there was a 486sx that was a 80486 with a fused FPU unit.
Dude, you are getting old!
But you are right, the parent poster does not properly makes a distinction between OS & hardware.

The downside is that you cannot control the lifetime of data. Data will "randomly" fall out of freenet. This is in practive a weak point of freenet.
.. and learned one hell of a lot in the process..
Can i translate that to: we made a lot of mistakes.

In other words:
-lossless compress it, since real life pictures are always compressable.
-Add Data, upto original size of file.
(-Add a hash/sign it)

But i think if you ask them how many cpu's are attached to their 8 monitor setup they don't have a clue.
yes, but at 100 meter inhouse it is much slower that 11 Mbps.
uninnovative
translates into proven concept.
Idiot CEO
getting payed a lot of money for crappy decisions.
Nice tool, But it is unsupported now for about 2 years. It does not have autoconfiguration for mozilla or opera above version 4.
Also it has no updates for the anti-ad stuff, what is its main purpose.
It is has had great potential, but th authos seems to have it abandoned,
Alan Cox works for red-hat.
It is as simple as that, just unbind the netbios protocol from the tcp/ip stack that is linked to the internetet.
NT4: control panel -> network -> services -> services, just make sure under your internet ip (dail up adpater) nothing else then tcp/ip is checked.
win2000: network -> make sure only tcp/ip is checked.
Stopping the messager services will stop the spam, an leaves your PC open to the internet. But it helps against BOFH.
And i just discovered that deamon tools support this new "physical properties" of the new securom with the use of MDS files. So you can copy also the new secucom cd's to HD and keep the orinal cd's in the safe.
I also failed to copy diablo.
However i managed to copy it to my HD with 2 tools:
- clone cd
- daemon tools
just make an image with clone cd and mount that image with deamon tools in a virual cd-rom. If you have a big HD you can have a lot of cd's ready to play.

it's totally down now(at least for the last 4 hours before this posting)
10060 Connection timed out
please please tell me the outcome of this story. I hate the open ending.
I need to know before i throw myself before a truck.
I vote for opera.
I learned gestures on opera. On mozilla they are different, I want my opera settings under mozilla, and i don't want to spend time programming it, if that is possible. (I want to save time).

This is even more funny than you think: what do you sign your activex applet with? YES a verisign key that says that you are really farnsworth.
use DISTILLED WATER

Bye bye electronics.
Although i heard some stories of people dropping a soda (accidentally) in their pc. After cleanup they lived happely ever after.
They also have a preview. (which is as good as most reviews)
The conclusion, just point to any tech site and you will find a review.
