If the say "windows(TM)" they have to put the little (TM) symbol on it.. By saying Window$ they avoid this problem, since "window" is not trade marked.

Yes, you can't 'copy' a trademark without putting the appropriate text with it - hence its copyrighted.

And plus, these guys are french, give them a break when it comes to english.

Dude, what are you smoking?.. There are heaps of jobs out there that can be enjoyed.

I'm a linux software developer, doing game related stuff. I absolutely love it. It has my two pations, games and linux...
There is absolutely nothing I love more than the feeling of success of getting something working (yah, geek, no life, no gf).. And I also love the problems I have to get around.. Everyday I work I feel my mind expanding, learning more cool stuff.

A job _should_ be enjoyable.. a job will be anywhere between a 1/6th and a 1/3rd of your life, including sleeping - so you better enjoy it... The "put up or shut up" attitude of yours is quite pathetic.
If you goto your job and dont like it, you dont want to be there, you want to be anywhere but there - then either you need to get a new job or improve the current one. Who cares where the pay is comming from? Whats the point of a life thats unhappy..

it may not have been tasty, but it was damn easy to catch..

all sailors had to do was "hit a piece of wood against a tree" and tens of dodo birds would come flocking to see what the noise was all about.. why?
because the noise of hitting a piece of wood against a tree was the same as the calling noise of a dodo bird..

the other thing was that they were so friendly and not scared at all.. a sailor could pick it up without it running away at all..

    thats a damn easy meel!

I would love this to be possible, but i am very very doubtful..

anyway, a dodo bird would be alot nicer to re-create :)

But to be honest, I'd definatly hold off until star office 6.0 (few months) - 5.2 is just way to bloat. Although we use it at work, I dont like it much. Or, if you could get it all working fine, you could go for open office.

For other desktop applicatoins I think that kde offers a very good suite - kmail, konq, etc are all very good imho. (And import outlook email folders)
