I just bought more shares this morning, just in under the wire it appears.
I'm on the opposite side of the fence. I was debating about buying Tesla shares and trying to balance Musk's personal behavior in recent weeks against what Tesla is doing and sort of decided I could stomach him. But it looks like I lost out.
I have an Amazon fulfillment center near me and after looking at some of the requirements for their professional job listings and hearing stories from people in my network I decided that I would stay well clear of them. They seem to be on the low end of the work/life balance quality spectrum as well as paying peanuts.
Many many many people do not have that luxury. They get any job they can.
I know and I still have sympathy for these people even though I have the luxury of choice.
I have a little less sympathy for those in this situation who also voted "R" in recent elections. Sure, they got suckered, but that's also on them. They can reap what they sowed.

Imagine that 10 years from now there are 3D printers that print really strong metal parts which can be assembled into a machine gun or similar.
Do you mean like the sintered metal 3D printers that some car manufacturers are already using? You can slap down your credit card and walk away with such a printer today.
If the attendant somehow didn't know about that button, then that's a hazardous situation right there.
I actually read TFA and it seems that the attendant tried all sorts of ways through his normal systems to shut the gas off, but failed. It appears that he finally used the emergency shutoff, but that is not clear in TFA.

Which raises the question of what is the environmentally way of disposing of them?
That's one reason I also have a hoard of memory cards - I have no idea of the best way to dispose of them and the amount of money I'd make on selling them isn't worth my time*

*Anyone want to bid on an San Disk EC-8CF 8MB CompactFlash card? It's Nikon branded!
I do. I typically make about $5 per memory card, and I sell about 400 per month. It supplements my $50,000 a year salary I get in IT in Silicon Valley.
So you are buying them for $6 and selling them for $5 with the intention of making up for the loses with volume?
For too long we have been victimized by overly-bright color schemes when we use email. NO MORE!
Our lives can once again be filled with joy instead of bright grays!
Finally we can achieve the dreams of our grandfathers and never again be condemned to suffer dark fonts on light backgrounds.
As someone who started off with green text on a black background (or amber if you were fancy) the arrival of the paper white screen with black text was seen as an OMG!!!! I want one moment. So I'd humbly suggest you review your history about what style of screen your grandfather dreamed of.
Now git* off my lawn
(*and I am sure git has some arcane switch which will do this for you)
How do you not bend spaghetti evenly from both ends? Is this one of those one hand clapping koans?
I would be laughed out of town.
Unless you saw proof that they deliberately stacked the deck against you personally, and not Joe Schmoe sitting next to you.
(Which is the stance of the sort sellers - Not that I know if they have a valid point or not .. that's up to the relevant authorities)
I don't see it being too useful for military because it's too light to have any real defence
You'd have to be a pretty sophisticated adversary if you can find and target a 75kg glorified R/C aircraft flying at 70,000+ feet
Working from home is great. And sometimes I even put clothes on!
Well unless you are speculating, investing should be long term anyway

It's amazing that a headline here on Slashdot is based on such an ignorance of how value is defined.
But .. But .. Tesla
Maybe he is looking for python?
What about Python on an Arduino?

Shssh .. don't tell them about GPRS
I'm not disagreeing with the your narrative, just that it is relevant in this case
Amazon had this problem well before an R was in office. You're just tying to warp the situation to fit your narrative

D or R has nothing to do with this.

The link in that article goes to goldseek.com, which has dick all to do with Uber trucks.
What is going on here? Are that many people really ranting without clicking on the link, or has it been subsequently hacked?
The actual link *is* in the tech crunch name on the heading.
But shame on the editors for the pimping. Not that they actually care what we think.
That is the same trick that Tesla has been using. Eventually investors figure it out, the stock falls, then the lawsuits start.
Apples and Oranges. You can go out and buy a Tesla car today. You can't go out and buy an Uber self driving anything today.
Affinity Photo for iPad is an incredible app and cost $19.99, once.

I happily bought the Desktop version a few years ago. Works for me and no renting software from Adobe.

Me, I can't get over the fact that free speech is decided by unccountable giant megacorps
I don't remember the part in the constitution where it says businesses are not allowed to restrict speech. Can you point it out to me?
