Yes, my Trident 1meg works fine... for text documents. When I'm gaming, I want something tuned FOR gaming. If I'm working with Office docs, then any mouse will do.
Yah, but being able to play competatively with other people with no lag is quite worth it with arcade quality sticks is worth it to me.
People still play marvel vs capcom2, capcom vs snk2, KOFXI, etc. in the arcade. When I play games like those mentioned, Initial D or DDR, I don't think about the cost over the long term, I think about differences in home and arcade game play.
The Xbox 360 is getting a several year old game, and given the cost to manufacture these things, they NEED to move them off the shelf.
If Microsoft really cared about the Japanese or Euro markets, they wouldn't be getting big Japanese and European devs NOW as opposed to the four years ago they launched thier first console.

It's been like that in Japan for YEARS. It's not the unwillingness to pay. It's the fact that there aren't ANY GOOD GAMES out in the states anymore. The Japanese market's dying too, but that's because the economy there is STILL crap.
They've never had a monopoly anywhere else. If you were an enterprise user, you DID have alternatives to NT and IIS. It wasn't always Linux, but there were alternatives.
However, at any point between Windows 95 and XP did you EVER have the option of buying a PC that was dual boot linux/beOS/AtheOS/*BSD/INsert OS of choice AND Windows? No? Guess what then? That's a monopoly.
I know that Scientific Atlanta manufactures Cablemodems, but with Cisco, via Linksys, already providing that... Does this mean that A) The modems will stop sucking or B) be replaced with linksys branded products?
The government has authority because I respect it. If I choose to defy that authority, I choose to do it willingly in hopes that it'll change.
The first amendment guarantees that the Goverment won't censor WHAT you say, but it can step in on how, where, and how much you spend on making sure that you say what you want.
Now, if there was a law banning republicans or democrats or green party or the nazi party from buying air time, then that would be a violation of the 1st.

I have access to a laser printer. So I knwo what true 2d visual clarity looks like.
If there's ghosting, there's probably something else wrong with the card, not the GPU.
