Why not *gasp* MULTIPLE operating systems? Why do they always go all or nothing.
Lets have Win7-2 simply an upgrade to what is a fine operating system.
PLUS a new beaut fancy app-based IOS competitor with new functionality with an easy dev environ so people can produce the content and anything that is worthwhile goes into the next Windows release
I've (and im sure many others) been thinking for years why doesn't Microsoft keep IE as its bloated beautiful self and fork Firefox or similar and have a super speedy hip cool l33t trendy web 2.7 compatible browser that people will want to use. IE isn't going anywhere half of what we use at work requires it full stop but it doesn't mean they cant have other products out there, trying new things, developing ideas
I work for a large government organisation dealing with a lot of sensitive information and when our many board members decided they would like wireless in every office building. Something about how untidy those nasty blue cables appear. so it came down from on high that we would roll out wireless with full network functionality to all the offices, our Security Manager almost sh*t, it was almost comical to see his reaction to the email. Then it took many weeks and many emails of compromise to give them a different vlan and only port 80
I understand New Zealand government already implemented something along this lines, if they find evidence of you using torrenting software, an obscure protocol primary designed for pirating:P.
i believe its a 3 strikes and you're out

My pc is about 2 years old and is in the HP line of 'dev' machines, it has 10 usb 2 ports at the back with another 4 usb 1 ports at the front and 0 firewire.

It looks to me like its only doing the documentation (README) docs so changing code isn't a problem, but is a logical next version.
So when i turn up to pay my speeding fine at 750th past Khartoum (5:05pm UTC) they will open their doors?
Given the fail rate on hard drives, replacing these would be a full time job. No?
