    I would assume the artificial boundaries are due to some stupid country laws. I'm sure it would be much much simpler for Apple (or anyone really) to have a single presence. But then again there is the price gouging too in foreign markets...

    I am sick and tired of all these damn sequels and remakes and rehashes. When are we going to see something original for a change damnit! This game 5, Another game 3, some movie 7, Some other movie remade for the 5th time.     Why the hell does an investment bank, who normally act as a "service provider" want to take a direct stake in a Social networking company ?

    They're in the business of making money. If this will make them money they'll invest in it. If selling their souls will make them money they'll do that too... scratch that they already did that one.

    To be fair Skype is a synonym for VOIP these days to the general public and a lot of people rely on it. I'm sure we'd get same stories if Facebook or Titter went down. As for your second comment. Oh my God do they need to apologize for the new version of Skype! I'm lucky the Linux version is basic and they don't focus too much on it.

    Wouldn't it be simple to put out an update on your average home router with a list of porn sites that parents can switch on and off or come up with some sort of a standard which I'm sure wouldn't be hard to implement. Don't the ISPs already have customized firmware? This way parents have protection they want and we can still have liberty.

    Out of curiosity if we can't trust the large faceless banks with our money who can we trust? This is a legitimate question by the way... if the banks were to fail where would my money be safe?
