Expressvue ended up selling all of the "Liberated" units to dealers in Toronto. Damn hyprocrits.

Back to the article, With all of the spyware, IE plugins, and other memory hogging garbage associated with these P2P programs, alot of users wont even notice a few extra viri thrown into the mix, they'll just run to techies faster.

The home routers that use this technology will probably have an option to limit the transmitting power (as most do right now) this will allow only the people in the house to use the connection, if the neighbor does pick up the connection, it will be so weak that the people in his house will pick up thier own signal (since it is exponentially stronger)

I had a problem with it, it stopped hotsyncing due to an "electrostatic shock" My palm was one of the first to do this and Palm kept blaming it on my computer. Their tech support was not very good, they often just autoresponded a message that picked up key words in my complaint. And their chat with a tech support was nothing more than a bot.

Anyway after hundreds of people complained; palm admitted that their cradles were defective and are now offering replacements.
