He was always the first to cover for doctors who were on call. He was always the first to volunteer to work on holidays. He was the first to get new training and share it with others one-on-one.
I read through the definition of this brilliant "jerk", and I can't understand why it's tacked on.
I see no indication that the aforementioned person is being a jerk, but so much as not really contributing to growth.
On the other hand, he appears to be helping to keep the status quo, which is by no means a bad thing.
Are you telling me you're going to fire a perfectly good worker because he may not have the best marketing skills?
This seems to be a reoccurring problem for many an electronic.
We've advanced far and wide in several fields, but we're not advancing (fast enough?) with batteries.
Instead of focusing on these charging stations (which just feels like a bandaid fix to me), they should be finding a way to make a higher capacity/more efficient battery.
If I've learned anything from my current position it's that if a single person find a problem, they're usually whacked on the head and told to keep their mouths shut.
The person who knew was probably a grunt worker in microsoft who was hushed by his manager.
Uh...Walmart/Target don't make tablets to my knowledge, why not make sell (and thus make money off of) a product of a competitor in a totally different field?
If you were hacked? It shows your defenses are weak.
If you weren't hacked? It shows you have some seriously poor management/backup equipment.
Either way, less people are going to want to use you after this.
AT&T has fought tooth and nail to prevent expanding/improving their services in any shape, form, or fashion because it doesn't profit them.
Hence why I'm joking around about it.
Perotti: I’m not going to comment on data. That was an unfortunate comment. We have listened to feedback, and since June last year our policy for all of PC games is that we only require a one-time online activation when you first install the game, and from then you are free to play the game offline.
For those of you who are hardcore against DRM, the are ONLY removing the always-online DRM.
They still plan on using a DRM scheme, it's just you only have to verify it once.
As I said in another reply, if that was the case then I see the problem.
The issue with the article and everything linked is that NONE OF THEM go into detail about what the exploit was, other than stating there was one.
So by default I'm skeptical of everything. Thanks for clearing that up!
I guess I don't get it since I haven't played the game at all yet, but if they were known to be expensive then I guess that's why.
Blowing things out of proportion is something people tend to be good at, I suppose.
I can't believe I'm seeing a piece on slashdot that's seriously saying that thinning out the marketplace is a good thing.
...was doing this outside a CEO position.

Does this sound like a "jerk" to anyone?

Love him or hate him, almost everyone knew of him. :P
I guess he held copyright over himself, and it expires a year after he dies?
Tracking down those vile criminals, one bit at a time.

I could have sworn that the 4 food groups were:
1.Beans
2.Bacon
3.Whiskey
4.Lard
Stupid Disney cartoons steering me wrong again...
Spoken like someone who's never tried to write a research paper on a tablet/smartphone.
My wrists cringe at the very thought of having to do such.

An elderly lady crossed the sidewalk, Anonymous claims responsibility.
Which side to believe when both sides are known liars?
By reading this article you're suspicious.
By reading this comment you're even more suspicious.
Want to admit something, terrorist?

No doubt, AT&T also promises a 10% increase in your bill to pay for these expansions.
Why "threaten" to do it?
Like Nike says, Just Do It.

Excuse me while I print out a 3D hand and a 3D head so I can facepalm without injury to myself.

The whole point of a cell phone is to, oh, i don't know, be a cell phone?
If you're only going to use it at home, get a land line. They're cheaper.
