Yes there is the netinfo to ldap gateway but you can also bind to an ldap server as well. Look in Directory Access (plus they have an Active Directory mapping as well).
Automatic transmission is a fairly vague statement. This doesn't give the buyer a picture clear idea of what this might mean which leads to the buyer inquiring more about the product.
Pages-Per-Minute is laid out in very clear terms. This term has misled me till today. I feel this is deceptive advertising.
They should come up with a new term (i.e. True Pages Per Minute) so that the consumer doesn't lose faith in their manufacturers honesty.
It's very easy to remote manage, and the management tools are very easy to understand. Besides strong ports supports (ports works on OS X Server, but not very well), what does netbsd have over it when run on mac hardware?
We aren't all going to stop and handicap ourselves so that a few individuals can make a lot of money. If there is a technology that puts you out of a job consider it a good thing. Generally, that technology will make a lot of peoples lives easier/better. Plus you can learn something new. You don't stop learning when you leave college.
Whoever thinks that they are guaranteed a high salary just because they went through a certain amount of training is disillusioned. Things are always changing and no one owes you anything.
Why should the whole world stop because of a few people? This is exactly what the recording companies are trying to do as well and which I am equally opposed to.
Even with the whole thing about Blizzard and Bnetd. They are still one of the only Video Game Publishers that distribute their games for both Mac & PC in the same cd pack!
As companies merge and take-over there will be more and more sections in them with conflicting (or passively disagreeing) ideals and methods. Just because one section does one action doesn't necessarily mean that the whole company is bad.
Except for the fact that you can't legally donate this much money directly to a candidate only to a party (unless you are said candidate).
Curious, what would be the point of this?

Unfortunately you can't update your bios without a charged battery in your laptop.
Why even install it if you don't use/need it? Uncomment NO_X= true & WITHOUT_X11= true in your /etc/make.conf as well.

Take a look at OS X Server
...besides the $500-1000 price tag.

The difference being you can change things politically here whereas in China, you will get locked up or worse.
Throw OS X in the comparison of the three as well.

I am the opposite, I have beat the first one a couple times over but have never beat SMB2 or 3.
Go Figure

I forgot you could also use mount_smbfs
Umm, OS X has been able to access SMB shares for quite some time.
In finder go to Go:Connect to Server...
Then type smb://servername/share
or
cifs://servername/share
PAL runs at a higher resolution but lower refresh rate then NTSC.
I would rather not have a lower refresh rate on my tv, it's already pretty low.
Is this system copper based? Why wouldn't it be fiber based?
Like if you lock down Internet Explorer, right? Umm isn't it embeded.
Ok, your argument might be, your not going to browse on a server so you really don't have to worry about the ie updates, fair.
Anyway, I do remember a number of vulnerabilities with some of the key server apps available on MS products. Nimda.
What's the point of a server if everything is locked down.
doesn't the ps2 have usb ports? usb to wireless cards (sub $100) are cheaper than ethernet to wireless bridges (~200)
which is why you get an SLA that makes sense. If you lose money because the isp broke the SLA you can take them to court.
Microsoft could just release another version of windows that is lower functionality and cheaper.
People (and companies, because companies consist of people although some people seem to forget) are actually adaptable to change.
I don't why some people are saying this but how can you say *BSD is dying when a new flavor has been recently created (darwin)?
err rather expanded upon freebsd.
of course you could just use bind9
Thanks for the info. This could be the solution to what I was looking for.
I have a Diploma from a tech college (1.5-2 years) and haven't wanted to wade through 4 more years just to get a BS.

Except when you start thinking about running firewire drives in a RAID configuration.
Anyone have any info on freebsd support for firewire drives and controllers? From what I have found it appears to be non-existant :(
