I personally thought the humor in The Orville was subdued, which was better than I was expecting from Seth MacFarlane. I was expecting rapid fire jokes.
I know anecdote is not data. but in the years since the Affordable Care Act was in effect, my costs for coverage has gone up at a lower percentage than before. so I'd consider that partially effective.
I think it's the people who object to any form of DRM. By the way, I'm not one of them. My only problem with steam is I never have enough spare money when the Semiannual Steam Sales take place.
/. in general has a split mindset regarding steam. Some like it because of the convenience of one stop shopping for most games. Others mostly the militant Anti-DRM people hate it, because to them anything not open source and DRM free is evil.
and some people because of their landlords don't have another choice, or worse, the other choice is TWC/Spectrum or whatever they're calling themselves.
