I agree with you on this. There is far more than enough precedent cases that have already settled on this matter. The court would consider Bethesda's case a moot point of law. They would lose before the suit even started really. This is actually a case of extreme greed. It is so obvious they might as well post neon signs above their head. Sad....... but not surprising.

I agree with what you said. I've been in computers for 48 years now. Used MS since the early 80's. But that said, the first day they implement the Daas system, i will turn off my computor. Install ReactOS and go on down the road. I have had it with the idiot running MS. I don't like him or his policies. I have 2 computers with W10 and 2 with W7. One of the 10 also dual boots to Mint Linux. And one of the 7 also boots to ReactOS. Nice thing is The ReactOS runs on the old machines and new machines both quite nicely. I may be 65 but still love to game and that is the ONLY thing stopping me from full blown linux all the time. But if they implement the final nail in their coffin Daas, I will do it anyhow. And I am not alone. I believe a lot of business and countries will also follow suit. Many people and places are really tired of the shit from MS and their attitude of "Screw you, we don't care what you want. You'll take what we cram down your throat." Yes some sheep will accept that. There are always some sheep and always will be. But I don't believe that will include most people. Hell who knows it may force a a group of very smart people who have a ton of money to write a new OS that will run over MS like a steam roller. Crazier things have happened.

  3. I see a lot of explanations and excuses on both sides of this debate being given. But whether you agree or not, the military is the only line between those who would harm you and your ability to even disagree. Be a Russian citizen and "disagree" with the govenment. Or their military. You will end up in a camp in some frozen forgotten land. Or dead. It has long been known and still is, that the USA has long been the only country many times who stood up for and defended country's who were under attack from some other country who thought it was their right to take their country. Without all the rhetoric or fancy exlanations there is one simple word for those who refuse to defend the country they live in. The country who defends them so that they even have the right to run their mouth. Who would refuse to defend it or their fellow citizens. You do not have to be military to do your part. Sometimes your part is as simple as "writing code". Oh and that one word for those who actively work against helping or even work against your own govenement. That word has never changed. Traitor

It is not about your "intellectual" property or customer list to competitors That has nothing to do with the corruption and violation of the American public he brought light to. Because what he released is what scumbags our government is and what kind of ILLEGAL, corrupt things they do . How THEY stab their friiends in the back. How they violate the Constitution of the United States. So please no pious speech. Funny, that would inclue 90% if not more of the people's resume. Pretty much every human being seeking a job "embellishes" their resume. So if they are capable of doing the job and DO do the job well. I don't care. And I would still hire him and so would many business men I know. I'm 61 and from my many years in business I know quite a few and some are very, very wealthy. What Snowden did was the right thing. He has suffered, more than you I'd dare say. He does not have to die for him to be a hero. Let me clear something up for you. A hero does not have to die for his country in war time. He makes the OTHER guy die for his. The atrocities that the government has committed against the American people can no longer be tolerated.
