Next time, move the drive back to the old motherboard, then change the settings to use the generic ide drivers and move it back. That usually sorts it out. Also do that before ghosting.
My understanding was that part of the extra cost of projector bulbs was that there's a precisely aligned reflector built on, so no alignment has to be done by the end user. How much extra that adds, I don't know...
I don't understand why you'd use the service rather than just calling the shop yourself. It's slower, and your tying up a resource that your friends might need.
For my kids' W98 machine I copy the cd to the drive, then make a shortcut calling a.bat file which does something like: subst e:/D (in case another game is still mapped to e:) subst e: c:\games\clifford e:\start.exe I've only come across one title which doesn't work with SUBST. There may be some similar way to trick the Mac games.
I have to disagree - I have a 4 year old Sony Digital8 camcorder (it was the least expensive digital option then) and I think it has pretty decent low light capabilities. I've used the Night Vision thing a few times in the dark, but even with not much more than a candle you can get an image. My model is rather big and clunky compared to the newer ones, and thus has a larger lens, which may be why.
I think, from the consumer's point of view, that these features don't add to the cost of the phone - you can easily get free phones with all sorts of fancy features (AT&T was giving you a camera phone before Xmas) if you sign a contract. So you're getting a more advanced phone for the same cost as your plain vanilla phone was a couple of years ago. I think it's dandy, & I'll be getting a camera phone next time I see a free one.
Most of the spam that gets through my filters these days either has gibberish or chunks of classic literature. This morning I got one with a bit of Tom Sawyer...
I also really like speakeasy, which is why I've stuck with them for over 4 years despite being sometimes tempted by cheaper dsl or faster cable. They also just doubled my speed for the same price I've been paying which is nice. I host my vanity site and it's always been a solid connection. I recommend them to everyone.
I have an old Nikormat, and I've known a number of other people who did too. They are fully manual, and I think were made by Nikon as a lower end brand. They are solid as a rock, and you can get one with lens for around $100 on ebay. If you just want a light meter & to set everything else yourself, I'd give it two thumbs up. And if you later want to get some fancy autofocus number, you'll get most of your money back easily by reselling it.
What is the use of a P2P app for VoIP? I don't understand that aspect of Skype. When I call a friend, I don't need to go through a bunch of other people, I just need his IP address. Are the "P2P" aspects just using a buzzword, or are they distributing searches for other people or what?
I've actually had to do that; sometimes on a motorcycle there's not enough steel to trigger the loop sensors. Near where I used to work there was a main road and the light from the side road my job was on only changed when it sensed a vehicle, and I'd regularly sit there until either a car came up behind me or I got off and pushed the walk button. I've actually read that that is illegal, drivers aren't supposed to activate a pedestrian device, but whatever.
Having lived in the UK for a number of years, I'd be more worried about all the lead pipes and lead lined storage tanks still in use than the addition of flouride, which as others have pointed out has been used for years in the US with no apparent ill effects. I could go into my rant about British plumbing, but suffice it to say I knew MANY people who had no idea that the only safe drinking water in a British home is from the cold water tap in the kitchen. One friend only discovered this when, as a child, the water in the bathroom sink (which she used to brush her teeth with) was blocked by their escaped pet hamster who had drowned in the water tank. See also the Fawlty Towers episode where the hotel inspectors are coming so Basil instructs Manuel to get the pigeon out of the water tank...
Oh, and you *MUST* use specially licensed high-voltage service techs, which are few and far between currently. Yeah, my neighbor just bought a Prius that had been on the lot a while. Some Carmax clown hooked the special batteries up to the wrong charger & not only wrecked the fancy batteries, but apparently overloaded the wiring harness enough that parts of it needed to be replaced. He got a loaner while they got the parts in. I said I would take that one, but I think he did anyway.
First, as many others have noted, reading books on a Palm is pretty convenient - I've read at least 30 books on my old IIIx. I think that the real reason e-books aren't popular is price. The other day I was looking on Amazon for the new Jon Krakauer book - hardback was $14ish, pdf was $18. I got the hardback from buy.com for $14 with free shipping. I would certainly rather have the dead tree version of a book like that than a pdf for 25% more.
From my reading of the article, the real issue comes from the charges between carriers for terminating calls. I didn't see anything that would stop you from setting up 2 net phones and talking to your buddy somewhere. It seems to me the problems arise when I have VoIP & I'm calling a regular land line. Sprint was saying that At&T was trying to not pay them for terminating those calls. I can see the point, really; Sprint doesn't care how the calls got to them, if they have to terminate them they want to get paid.
I've got the Maha charger from Thomas distributing & it works great - just make sure you get the C204F and not one of the $12 ones which doesn't have the automatic cutoff. Their prices always seem good, and I've been happy with the Maha batteries in my digicam. The NiMH batteries last way longer than alkalines on a single charge.

Visa & MC don't really care - they just charge it back to the merchant.

From the article it seems like he's Czech, but live/works in the Netherlands. The Tatra is a limo, and probably cost a lot more than a VW.

Cool, thanks.
I'd like to pick one up if I can find it cheap enough.
Yeah, especially when you need to add a $10 Palm cable to hook it to your pc, it doesn't seem worth your while. Unless you're bored...

It's reel changes, not scene changes.

They have an official Bittorrent link on their site.

Ummm... that's when you apply your brakes and get back in your lane behind the dick. You don't HAVE to pass someone, you know.
