I would like to add that there is something that I loved about the PS:T engine that I didnt see in the BG engine, though it may have been added in the BG2 engine which I havent played, and it was the ability to run. Oh the joy to scramble from one place to the other which was lacking in the original Baldur's Gate. Really made it enjoyable to explore fully all the maps instead of the drag that it was in BG.
On a personal note, thanks for trying to bring more Planescape goodness. As a fan of the original, Im very grateful.
Hmm its been a while since I last played Torment, but didnt the modron, Nordom, use crossbows as its only weapons? Those are missile weapons as far as I know....

I never said they were INVINCIBLE, YOU said that. So dont put words in my mouth, what I said is that no matter the gun, it wouldnt really help you against one, much less a million, as the parent poster said. I realize he was joking, and so was I.
If you are so anal about it, then why have generes? By your definition, every single piece of literature could very well then be considered science fiction in one way or another. Sorry, but no can do.
Samurai's and ninjas? Is there any mention of such oriental themes in the previous Ultima games? Seems to me like something out of place for Britannia...
Does Physics provide an answer why pieces of Krypton can harm Superman yet pieces of Earth do not harm Earthlings?;)
There ARE pieces of Earth that harm Earthlings, like plutonium, uranium, etc, etc. You could say we got it worse than Superman. He only has to worry about kryptonite. We have to watch out for several elements that could kill/harm us!
Add the fact that it plays lousy in probably every system ine existance right now. Check all the videocard review sites and in even the most top-of-the-line systems, you rarely get more than 30-40 fps on it. Thats a big dissapointment, specially for all the time they have been working on it.
I remember Planescape: Torment had an amazing combination of excellent story, dialogue, characters and their development as you played along. I dont remember any other RPG where I would eagerly talk and talk with my party members as much as in this game, and get rewards from doing so!
One thing was to collect resources from practically stationary asteroids, etc. Another is collect resources from asteroids hurling at great speed towards your colony. You are asking too much of the poor guys in the collector ships man!
You bet, dual booting though. Games are still a Windows domain.
Errr..."faster".
Uh no. You could always walk. Auto running was optional, which made it waster, ergo, running.

So who is the troll, Mr. Flamebait?

So LOTR is science fiction too? Right, because there is so much science there?
Yes and we all know they are so effective that tanks are a thing of the past. Sure.
No gun would help you against a tank, much less a million.
My country is called Puerto Rico.
Maybe you are dislexic? =)
Uh no, it doesnt, nevermind the spelling mistake.

Hmmm...if I remember well, Don Quijote thought he was fighting giants, not knights.

Poor of them then, if they never relax their minds.
Shows how little you know. Girls LOVE DDR.

If you want to add real functions to IE, like pop up blocking, flash blocking, tab browsing, etc, then try Avant browser.
It's small and free. Enjoy.
Funny, the inverse is true for me. The more anime looking a game it is, the more interested I become.

First they say playing videogames makes you lazy and passive, now they make you hyperactive? Can they ever make up their minds?! =)

"We are all responsible for our own actions."
Enough said.
