Is it politically correct these days to use the phrase "Homo" in front of any words? Can't be to sure, you know. This also explains the urges I keep having to go club some animal to death and half cook it over an open fire. (Could also explain the tendency to howl at a full moon)
I got moderated day before yesterday and received 5 points for naming a personal hater, so I am no stranger to it. Such is the internet. what slashdot needs to do is stop the "Anonymous Coward" posts.
Well, I must be one of the lucky ones. I have always found it relatively easy to get help form Support. Usually within 24 hours for minor problems. We have excellent support from them at the plant. Now ask me how I do getting any kind of support from MEDCO and I can type you a novel on slipshod, sloppy, late, etc customer service. Go figure.
I guess it is only inevitable. Some people (most?) despise MS, some people (me) despise apple. IMHO Google has always been forthcoming with genuine and (for the most part timely reasons why they have or have had a problem.
I have always had good luck and good experiences with Google, even when we went to Google Apps at the plant.
I have found Google+ to be a better experience (so far) than FB. Of course they will need to load it up with a bunch of useless games to attract the masses over from FB.
I suppose this post now qualifies me as a "Google Fan Boy" and fair game for the flamers, so have at it if that is what makes you happy.
Google is Skynet and I am a Droid Borg.
When you merge in motion, traffic can flow at a steady rate. When you proceed to the end and "alternate merge" as you call it, both lanes will become stop and go. I have seen you on the highway many times. I put forth that you are inherently incorrect in you thinking.
If (and that is a very large and long "IF") we as Americans would put the cell phone down, put the radio on 1 station and leave it there and just generally remove our heads from our asses when driving, we would not need roundabouts, traffic circles, etc.
A prime example of just how inconsiderate we are as whole is the long standing rule that any traffic signal that losses power is to be treated as a 4 way stop. Yeah, right. That is going to happen.
Next prime example is construction zones where you see the signs for 3 miles that tell you the left lane ends ahead, merge right. How many of us "fine, considerate, American drivers" go ahead and start merging and how many run all the way to the end and them force our way into the right lane?
I can't believe I wasted 30 seconds reading this! Whats worse than that is I can't believe the number of idiots that waste even more time commenting on it. Oh crap, I just commented on it! Oh well, I will just have to add myself to the idiot list.:o()
Why not? We don't seem to have a problem with "Dumbing Down" the requirements for every other job field in the U.S. Just look at the number of cities that have been forced to lower their testing standards for law enforcement officers as one example.
Look at Wal-Mart with their "Made in America" campaign from years back. As soon as Sam Walton died, that disappeared seemingly overnight. I would gladly pay more for products "Made in America". (If there were any left). The 3 replies so far point out he fact that the great majority of people want cheap, not quality. (And no, I am not a union supporter before someone claims that I am)
We demand that our toys be delivered quickly and at the lowest possible cost. We are not willing to pay a fair price for a product built by happy people earning a decent wage. You can blame Apple, Microsoft, Google or whichever company you choose but the blame rests squarely on our shoulders. Flame suit on.
I will. Been with Verizon since the first tower went up in my county in '86 I think. This was before they became Verizon. Got 2 Droids that will be on someone else's system soon. They can also say goodbye to being top dog in short order. It is bad when you start running fiercely loyal customers into the arms of your competitor.
Out of all the countries we have meddled in and invaded, I will have to agree with the man for OZ. They would probably send us home with bloody noses with in 2 weeks.:o)

Tongue in cheek. Humor.
Isolate them from the WWW until they clean up their act at the local level. Go get them Google!

I thought so. So how are you tonight? Shame the forum is dead tonight isn't it.
You remind me of GLR.
Do what?! Wow! I can tell someone did not get their hug from their mommy before being dropped off at day care this morning.
Is full of shit! (Can I say that here?)

Never mind. Looked it up. Idiots.
Seriously. What are they and what are they used for? Do they cost money to buy? I am old and ignorant of some of this stuff. :O)
That is all. That and as stated above, do not use the internet as a baby sitter.
One can only hope they do the same for the people that bring their screaming new born to the theater as well.

Here comes October 21st! Run for the hills! It is a sign, I tell you, a sign! MOMMY!!!
PC Wiper Mag. Crashed Google Chrome browser. One of very few websites able to do this. No stars, I give this post 10 toilets.
Sounds like they need to download AVG free or Malwarebytes. ;o) Someone at Sony is going to be called upon to fall on their own sword at some point.
