Whatever. It's not like you keep the freaking POS mice that come with a Dell or HP anyhow. They're generally crap. I've got a 4 button Logitech "oldschool" wheelmouse on my main PC (that I've had for close to 5 years & it still works great) & my Mom has a Logitech 6 button Wireless Optical mouse on her iMac. I still can't believe how *un*laggy it was testing the UT2004 Demo on it.
The spam armoring really does help a little bit. At least I haven't got any more spam to this account since that twit AC decided to post my address unobfuscated on/. a few months back.
Having permission from an author to change a book, as long as the changes are availible for everyone to see, isn't forbidden by copyright law. It is/would be very unusual under copyright law, but not forbidden.
By your same reasoning it would be forbidden for Microsoft (or anyone else) to give their code to 3rd parties, under their own restrictions.
My step-dad has a generator that will run for as long as you put gas in it, my friends dad has a tractor PTO generator that will run for as long as a tractor is hooked up to it. I'm not understanding what is so inherently great about a "jet-engine" powered generator, aside that the gas costs $5 a gallon or so.
170 Million licensed drivers in the US according to the traffic school class I just took. I guess not all of them would have a car, but most probably would.

VNC with Fiber running between the computers?
Jaysyn
...down modded my last 5 posts for no good reason.
Well I'm glad you finally used all of your mod points up you prick.
Jaysyn
I hope someone puts that DVD ISO on p2p or a nice bittorrent.
Jaysyn
So I might have scored even higher on my SATS?
Jaysyn
Two Words. Lowest Bidder.
Jaysyn
Damn, got us both modded down. Oh well.
Jaysyn
That's one of the funniest things I think I've ever read on /.
Thanks

It's a joke, laugh. Oh, I'm sorry, the "humor-removal" squad already got to you.
Jaysyn
I suggest you do the same.
And I quote "The GPL is indeed a contract but one that gives you permission to do things that are forbidden by copyright law."
Your point isn't very clear. It looks like you are suggesting that copying or changing *period* is forbidden by copyright law.
Jaysyn
Yup, the US government has had a "spine-removal" black-ops squad over in Europe since after the great war. I*t *must* be our fault.
Jaysyn
Ah, well then in that case your generators would put out just a tad more juice than the ones I've delt with ;)
Can't imagine how expensive they'd be to run though. Or the caps needed to store the power.

Jaysyn
Yup, did that past Christmas. Worked like a charm. She loves it & I don't have to mess with it unless I want to.
Jaysyn
Temporaly, not by order of preference...
Jaysyn
I think you mean the drivers next of kin.
Jaysyn
...(coffee, sex, cigars, games)...
preferably in that order....
Jaysyn
... seeing as I just bought a DVD+/-RW.
Jaysyn
But he *could* be.
Jaysyn
Ah yes, otherwise known as geek support groups.
Jaysyn
Yeah, I too would much rather abuse my PCs (evil grin).
