    I thought the Baroque Cycle was brilliant & showed how much the author's writing had matured between it & Snow Crash.

    I'm hoping I get this for Christmas & it isn't a disappointment.

    @ the Reviewer. Dune had a metric crapload of made up words too.

    I've seen it played & bought it really cheap @ GoGamer.com (it came with Portal I think) & the game itself is sitting on my desk, but I've never actually sat down & played Half-life. Who knows, maybe I'll do just that tonight.

    Dungeon Keeper II runs pretty good in WinXP with the right sound card. Choppy on with my on board Realtek sound chip but perfect on my Soundblaster Live!

    I've used AT&T's (old Bellsouth) work network before & let me tell you, those computers can take 15 minutes to boot into a working environment because in some cases you are accessing resources over 300+ miles away on a horribly congested network. I don't know what they are using for interoffice connectivity but it's dog slow.

    If you are a participant in a fight at the high school I graduated from, you will be arrested & your parents will pick you up from jail later that day. Assault charges will be filed. It doesn't matter who started it or for what reason.

    I've seen people I know put in the back of a squad car after being jumped walking to class & not running away.

    It's a public high school in Florida in case you are wondering.
