The bigest problem with merging is the "brakers"; people that think it's easyer to merge when they hit the brake! Makeing everyone behind them have to punch it from a dead stop to get on the freeway. Here's a hint "MATCH SPEEDS!" That's what on ramps are for! They call them "ramps" because they give you time to lauch your slow a$$ up to speed to mearge.

I don't know about you but falling off at 12.5mph hurts enough for me. I'm an overweight, out-of-shape, round as a ball geek; I'd roll perty far if I fell off! ouch!
This from a School Distric with Teachers that gave up on my (step) son; because, they thougth he had flunked two yesrs just because he was 6'2" and 260lbs. He has never failed a class untill going to this school/teachers. When we pulled him out for Home Schooling they told us it was best for him because he had already failed two years!
Oh but they were very interested in him being on the football team! Not his grades.
Today I'm the proud stepdad of a: IM, ICQ'n, P2P pop'n, self taught GEEK.
How about using gyros in the bullet and not electronics. Hence "/mechanics". Build the gyro wheels with wire and use the magnetic field to spin it. Or maybe just shield the electronics. Lots of options...Hire me and I'll look into more...;)
When people start getting anrgy enough to sniper the CEOs of these organizations; then the CEOs will think twice about what they do to the genreal public. But then again; I guess there will always be some greedy SOB to take his/her place. So nothing will change.
Well you can always use guided bullets. This type of mass accelerator can accelerate bullets slowly and not destroy your electronics/mechanics in your guided bullet. Maybe?
Oh and Sound = Wasted energy.

I sudscribed for the service and was told the only way to get service was with a one year "contract." So needing something to watch in the late of night when the only thing on broadcast is "Paid programming"; I signed up. Boy was I pissed when half the channels I pay DTV for are also "Paid Programming" (most of the night!) sold to the highest bidder. The SciFi being the one I realy wanted. (sad)
So: I propose that maybe a "class action" against DTV for selling MY "Paid Service" to these TV Spammers!
I'm now looking into ways to get out of this breech of contract with them. I don't want to give my "Hard Earned Freedom Dollars" to these "Mafia Style Corporations."
