Title: Master Plan Article: Our master plan is now well underway and even the EU can't stop us with their petty fines and rulings against our company. We WILL control the world! Bwahahaha! Oh, how do I stop this thing from typing what I say? Bill said all I have to do is . . .
Very much agreed, I wonder how many more organizations will have to put out similar studies before the RIAA actually accepts it. With their level of denial, it will probably be quite a few. Or some court case could eventually have the same effect with slightly faster results.
I wonder how soon before we see the news story, "discount rocket crashes in Florida Everglades." It sounds like they're trying to push something they're not quite ready for, expecting the customers to serve as the test bed to work out the kinks? Sounds sort of familiar.
because you actually have to think and consider your options, if you have too many for your brain to handle (something like more than 3 for an average person) it could probably be easily proved that the chances of getting the best option reduces exponentially for each additional option over 3.
Wow, yea, and another point of interest: It will tell the web server the name that you've made up is the name of the browser you're running. No, I'm not running IE, I'm currently running Ack! Spacedragon. Should make for quite a few laughs for those web admins that actually pay attention to these statistics!

And if you run really super fast, you distort the packets.
If you ask me, PCs sort of pave the way for consoles. PCs are more easily configureable and thus they have the newest graphic cards with the newest features and the fastest processors that make for more complex games. The PC market somewhat standardizes things and is like a test market for what the Console market can/will do in their newest console version.
I agree, I was watching the trailer watching them interegate the robot thinking, "see, he didn't do it, they're just making it seem that way." But the last 5 seconds or so . . . words cannot explain what a terrible thing they have done.
I wonder how hard it would have been to make it look like it was controlled by a robot when actually a human was sitting at a remote console quite a ways away playing it like a video game?
I wonder what the chances are of Slashdot actually doing the work for all of us and creating mirrors on their servers and linking to those instead of taking down poor defenseless websites. Probably not good, huh?
I want a house where I plug in my toaster and it is detected by the network. I know, I know, windows would tell me, "I've detected a new toaster, would you like to install the drivers?" But when you get that really cool internet refrigerator from LG it could actually connect to the network via the power plug, the server could detect it and do its thing to configure it. What good is an internet refrigerator without all your bookmarks??
I wonder if NASA will get ahold of this to help those astronauts who have been in space too long and need some help walking when they first get back to earth? It might even be a good form of therapy for those who have temporarily lost the ability to move their legs.
Is there anything being done to retain this vast wealth of well presented knowledge for other's who have yet to benefit from webmonkey? When I first started getting into making a web page the first thing I realized is that there are a lot of people that have written quite a bit on the subjects, but none of them have done it in a way that a beginner would understand. Then I came across webmonkey and I was amazed. I used their website to get into html, stylesheets, dhtml, and there was quite a bit that I never managed to get into quite yet.

Why not? They blame it on the reason why nobody has elected an independent for president.

This is too much fun! I think ive restarted my browser 50+ times watching it come up with names. My latest: IE Sucks! Superbunny

You might say they were slashdotted 6000 times that of a normal slashdotting.

it's too bad I already posted, this is good.

Start a protest: Support Asimov, don't watch I, Robot. Let Hollywood know not to screw with scifi!

I can't wait for Adobe Housebuilder v8.0, I hear they've included support for incorporating a mini-bar into your new home!

Not to mention my $20 microsoft check and all those damn rebates on hardware/mp3 players/software . . .
Yea, but the sad part is that they gave in to the pressure of the stupid RIAA.

And just days after russia was displaying their new weapons systems, any chance one of them could have done something like this?
eMate does ring a bell.
