it's widely known that the NSA uses all known operating systems for distributing computing tasks.
So every windows computer connected to the Internet will accept NSA task packets and compute them and send them back. It does this seamlessly though so the user never sees anything. They built it into the TCP/IP stack. It just becomes easier with windows and even Linux. (SELinux anyone?)
this is simply unacceptable. I wouldn't be surprised if people started carrying personal x-ray detectors. If you expose my children to x-rays while they're just walking in a public place, I have a serious issue with this. I can't even imagine what's gonna happen if a parent discovers their children have just been exposed.
Yes, most people never finish games. I'm in that group.
Of the 350 or so games I've played, I've finished maybe 60. It's not about the game being awesome or not. It's only about time. I haven't finished a single rockstar game except vice city. I never finished a single elder scrolls game. It's only about finding the time to play. I don't have that much time.
The Internet is limited only by the capacity of the transmission medium and the memory of the switching equipment. I really wish more people understood this. Need more capacity? Upgrade infrastructure. Problem solved.
In a market economy, we could choose our own ISP by who offered the best service and speed based on price. Unfortunately deregulation has created a duopoly.
xbox 360 controllers. ps3 controllers. bluetooth. electrical motors for ceiling fans. cordless phones in the 2.4Ghz range. cheap RC cars/planes/helicopters. Your paper shredder, while it's running. your 5 neighbors' wifis all on channel 6. CFL bulbs. (They tend to absorb radio signals.)
All of these will interfere with wifi. Perhaps you should switch to 5Ghz 802.11N
In my local mall, during last christmas holiday, Disney set up an interactive display game to promote their wild-4-disney passes. It consisted of multiple flat-screen tvs setup in a wall with an IR sensor setup in a field-sweep above the whole display. The point was to "drag" christmas ornaments to decorate the tree.
I'm not going to respond about the server thing, just this...
MW2 was not stunning. It was most of the same with a side of the same.
Modern Warfare was truly stunning. MW2 was "just a sequel" Unfortunately, the format changed slightly. The formula didn't produce the same results as the first in my opinion.
That's much the same as Madden 2011, which is just a sequel which changed the format slightly. It's a safe ROI. That's not restrictive, it's business.
one of the most compelling reasons to make a sequel is the almost guaranteed ROI.
New IP requires great risk.
There's no lack of creativity in the industry. There's a lack of willingness to take risk.
me personally? I'd like to see them tell a great story, rather than introduce 10 new features.
They have found winning formats. They need to tell different stories now.
Imagine all the stories that can be told with the Red Dead Redemption game format. Pirates, Knights, Astronauts, Zombies, Robots, (ahem) Film Noire. There's a million stories waiting to be told in that award winning and customer preferred format.
we already know that Capsaicin has applications in modern medicine. This should be a great boost in the production yields for medical use. That is, if the company doesn't try to patent a plant.
you mean our equipment?

actually, it is wow+loot from tabletop D&D days.
coat a photo-diode in zinc sulfide. voila! detector

I won't pay $60 for a shorter game though.
If "skyrim" were 12 hours I wouldn't buy it.
keep dreaming crapple!

TFA is a convoluted mess of industry jargon and useless information.
A useful article would involve the icons themselves and what they mean.

lie detectors are not accurate.
There are so many factors which can alter the results.
The easiest is the simple butthole clench. It alters your blood pressure instantly, which affects the results of the polygraph.
Now, an FMRI lie detector is 100% fool proof unless you've undergone extreme training to beat them.
A bitcoin is about $6.75 right now. WHEN bitcoin becomes illegal, their value will skyrocket.

This is a similar tech with multi-touch.
There you go. I think you're in that camp who loved babylon 5 also.
I loved SGU, but couldn't bear to watch SG:1 or SGA. Just too goofy and far fetched for my tastes.
so that's what happened! still remember that!

They're offering that as an alternative.
You can still download it if you like. But if you download it, you have to upload it again to be a part of your amazon cloud collection.
All I can say is that Amazon (and Google and Apple if they intend to follow up with their rumored similar services) had better lawyer up.
They are in a constant state of being "lawyered up". They are at legcon 4 right now.
I was wondering that myself.
How is it legal for ICE to seize the property of an American citizen?

aim assist. It's the only way your pseudo-precision is possible. All the console shooters have it.
In fact, if you were to pit these players vs each other on their chosen platform, you'd see the results.
WINSLOWLEE420, VATOS PL, G A K E I R, BESTBUDZ99
vs.
FILTHY MOGA, RAFSHI, DER_MATI, CTAPUKAH
Throwdown! PC vs 360. who will win? obvious.
this is a retarded non-story.
A republic is a democracy based on a founding document. The founding fathers considered us a republic.
that's oddly believable.
