It's great and all that they have included so many extra platforms, but can I use firefox on my windows box to view the content yet? Am I still forced to use IE?
oh, increased risk of cancer? is that all? thats more like someone farting in an elevator. I minor inconvenience at best yeah?
That seems like a huge fucking problem to me. Despite my long-held belief that cancer is natures way of speeding evolution. Rapid cellular mutation anyone?
Though I'm no doctor, I have to completely agree with you. I was born in the mid 70s when all the vaccinations had toxic stuff like mercury in them. I grew up with an ass-load of learning disabilities and more allergies than you could imagine. My brother and sister who were born earlier in the 70's have none of my issues except normal allergies.
This is either a strategy or a colossal fail. Since there is G4W live shit and FailRom drm installed bundled, I'm leaning towards strategy.
I own every GTA game ever made. I opted for GTA IV on 360. I actually got a 360 for it. That being said, I'm a diehard PC gamer. I prefer PC for every game.
I could have waited, but when I heard GTA IV was a 'G4W live' only release, I knew rockstar had fucked up.
The others have all been flawless PC releases. They just know better.
online journalists are usually bloggers. They just don't have the legal protections that a print or tv journalist would have with the backing of their corporate entity.
If the book is out of print, the publisher must not think it's profitable. If they decided not to port their catalog to etext, they are doing two things to harm the market. First, they are artificially keeping consumer choices low. Second they are forcing would-be consumers to voilate copyright law by forcing no other choice. The issue is, if they offered all their catalog in etext, they would have to pay royalties. This is why authors with out of print titles should take steps to publish their own etexts. Sinmce they most likely still retain rights to an electronic publication of their work. They could sell it directly on amazon without the publisher.
First, I was supposed to beta test it. The installer kept giving me a weird error about a FIPS cryptographic package. I was never able to install it. The NCSoft Support team didn't seem to have a clue as to how to solve the problem and install the game. If anyone deserves to be sued, it's NCSoft. People bought TR with the expectation that it would be an on-going experience. It is now shutting down. The value that was expect is no longer.
any employer who doesn't want to pay their employees for booting up their computers needs to be sued.
This is quite asinine. Of course you should get paid for booting your computer up. You must follow the policies of your company which state you must turn off your computer. You also must follow the policies which state that you boot up and log into the system in the manner prescribed by IT. Why wouldn't you get paid for that? "because you're not working" If that's not work, what the fuck is?
religion must end. We are on the brink of being able to prevent our own extinction by any means. Religious zealots are preventing mankind from progressing forward.
I believe that we program our own offspring DNA by facing adversity and adapting. Of course it's not a conscious thing or even an immediate thing. There is part of our DNA which remembers what happens to us. It flips gene switches after repeated issues in multiple generations. Think about it. If you raise 5 generations of mice in total darkness, at least one offspring will be born blind in the newest generation. Reproduction is very much a trial and error type of thing. Only those with the correct adaptations survive, or those most able to adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
Humans are very adaptable. We have a greater range that 90% of animals on Earth. That's why we're so successful. That and our giant brains.
without infinity ward, COD series would have died. Treyarch, while not necessarily bad, just didn't find that winning combination.
COD4 is one of the defining experiences in games, PC or console. The single player campaign is lacking very few things if any. It really connected with a majority of the demographic.
I have played hundreds of PC games in the past 20 years. Very few of the experiences remain with me. Very few had that impact.
leisure suit larry, space quest 6, wing commander 4, prince of persia, duke 3d, star wars x-wing vs tie fighter, jedi knight 2, dark sun wake of the ravager, system shock 2, warcraft 2, starcraft, wing commander prophecy, blade runner, half-life 2, need4speed underground, rainbow 6, portal, star trek elite force, tomb raider 2, soldier of fortune, max payne, operation flashpoint, COD1, KOTOR, Splinter Cell, Deus Ex, hitman, sid meier's railroads, Vampire Bloodlines, omikron: the nomad soul, gta san andreas, oblivion, COD4, mass effect, fallout 3, assassin's creed. crysis:warhead.
Those games had a serious impact on me. I remember them vividly. They all have that special sauce. I haven't included multi-player only games. But CS and BF1942 are high on that list.
They may not have been the most successful games, but out of probably 260-280 games I've played, these I remember.
It's great and all that they have included so many extra platforms, but can I use firefox on my windows box to view the content yet? Am I still forced to use IE?
t-mobile uses the frequency that no one else uses. 1700MHz for 3g as opposed to the 2100MHz standard that everyone uses.

could be the cause of the zombie apocalypse.

Bullshit.
I wish congress would wake up and smell the bullshit.
up to 624MHz from 528MHz. Seems like a useful jump.
this concept has been around for over 100 years.
this was a small concealable pistol for protection

doesn't a person who's nervous about flying emit the same bodily signals?
couldn't this technology also be misappropriated to force a person to unwittingly give up their sexual orientation?
Sounds like biometric discrimination to me.
if this mod team isn't already pro, they've just written their own ticket.
The work I see is excellent. very polished stuff.
corporate managers may not be too bright, but customer service horror stories generally get their attention.

ummm, no!
securom is unacceptable. I wish someone would remove securom from existance. It poses a security threat.
doesn't the FTC have clear rules on pricing schemes? Seems like it could be a bait and switch.
hopefully he will choose someone who understands the futility of applying copyrights to digital media.
what, specifically, should we have in our portfolio? short stories? novellas? screenplays? writing exercises?
Types of plots? Genre of fiction?

for a CYBORG! cybernetic interfaces here we come.
This is hardly exciting. AMD should have released these a year ago. Now they are irrelevant.
