I'm not surprised that VLC player is repackaged/distributed with malware, but the complaint about Google seems invalid as of today at least. I go search VLC media player on Google, and on the first and second page only get the legit software, no keyword ads or anything.
But we have exactly that. Any MP, no matter what party they're with, can vote to his/her liking... they just might not be part of that party soon after.
It's a risk politicians have to take. After Garth Turner crossed the floor and joined the Liberals, he lost his riding the following election. Obviously people in that riding (I lived in that riding for most of my life) wanted a Conservative, and one who would vote along party lines. Knowing the demographic, its not all that surprising either.
And it's totally not surprising Obama's top contributor is the University of California. What point are you trying to make? A call center rep at Citigroup isn't exactly part of the ruling class...
As if the equitable way to distribute the money is dividing it equally among members. Some musicians are clearly more popular than others, so they would get a larger cut, right? Considering their material is probably 'downloaded' more than others.
This whole thing is ridiculous. $10/customer for SOCAN, what next? $10/customer for the movie industry? $10/customer for graphic artists? $10/customer for the telecom union guys who maintain the network? I still find it appalling that the recording industry managed to push through the fees on mp3 players and CD-R discs. The internet one will NEVER fly.
How many civilians do we watch die before foreign nations intervene? 100? 1000? 10000? how about 100,000? Surely when it's over 100,000 murders the UN security council would have made some course of action? That's no longer 'interfering', it's stopping an on-going genocide. I would think those people would be forever grateful.
The fact remains that there's no way of proving the attack had anything to do with China except that the computers involved were from China. There are many unpatched Windows computers in China as most are using pirated copies that will likely stop working if a service packed is installed, hence leaving them vulnerable to a variety of exploits. It would be foolish to assume this had anything to do with the Chinese government.
As if they even needed those F117 components to figure out a stealth design. All the pieces to start building an F-22 equivalent have likely been leaked via espionage, an engineer who lost a USB key, or a compromised server containing technical design documents. All the design software that can be used for modeling RF signals are available via pirated copies online, and have been for some time. They probably started building their jet right from old design plans for the F-22, likely recovered from a hard drive in all the e-waste, or sold to them by a former engineer.
The insane thing is that they accepted a cheque for $500k. A fuckin cheque? Are you kidding me?? You'd think for that sum of money they would require identification, registered addresses, multiple signatures, and some other bullshit. I couldn't even deposit $100 into a friend's bank account at a bank without providing some form of photo ID. The bank deserves to be scammed.
This is where China could really save the day. If the North Korean people saw Chinese soldiers crossing into the country, well, I think they'd be so confused about the propaganda they've been fed for 5 decades that they would offer minimal resistance. I don't think the North Koreans are brainwashed enough to believe in a Chinese led invasion force, it would create serious cognitive dissonance for every one of them.
The people of China, those who follow politics, even believe Kim Jong-Il is crazy. They aren't that out of touch. Chinese leadership probably thinks the same.
Large companies don't even bother with having fax machines print stuff to paper, they give employees their own fax number which when a fax is received simply generates a digital version of the fax and emails the receipt. Oh no, a variety of departments are getting lots of black image emails... oh the horror.
Most of those search results are quite weak as a response. Many say Anarchist/Nationalist - which is just hilarious. They're basically equating nihilist Nationalists to Anarchists by those statements. Which yes, at the time, many Nationalist leaders - Mussollini for one - were once anarchists. It was quite clear these guys were nationalists, everyone else cites them as that - except for the first search result - which is a slide presentation that makes the claim they were anarchists, without a citation.
Uh - doesn't sound like anarchists to me, these guys sounded pretty hell bent on Serbian nationalism in my opinion. Anarchism =/= Nationalism. And really, since when did showing opposition to financial institutions that really seem to be only serving themselves become such a bad thing? The powerful and wealthy are creating laws to basically benefit themselves, creating as many layers of protection from those that would dare show a physical presence on the street. The giant bailout packages, the fancy police toys, the UAVs, the billion dollar trade summits, the snatch-and-grabs of political dissidents, demonstrate exactly how the gravy train works.
A refinement to the device would be a range finder, with programmable deployment pod. Instead you fire it over their head, so when the floatation projectile reaches the specified distance, it suddenly expands and drops instead of beaning the drowning person in the head. This would probably push the price up a bit, but makes it particularly cool.

Are you implying that Capitalist Republics have developed of method to deal with the bad qualities of humans?
In shows like CSI, Bones, etc where they end up zooming into a low resolution image, just to magically have it enhance into a complete image is fantasy. The image simply lacks spatial information to recreate that level of detail - at least from a single frame. But this is what they show every single time. Either way, having 10 images of a guy who's head is a pixel block will not help you recreate his face.

And why they bought every single domain name using "Sucks" and "Blows" that involves Bank of America and all their executive management.
That's a list of aggregated contributions by organization, meaning: those donations were made by individuals who work for those corporations.
If you go look at the McCain campaign, the list doesn't look much different , except the dollar values are lower.

We need a standardized way of doing this and it needs to appears in routers, laptops, desktop computers.
Edward I. Koch , he held that position for 12 years until 1989.

Took me less than 10 seconds. =3
Hey, they might even read a Tom Clancy novel for inspiration.
Works fine in Chrome ...
this sounds like a ID10T error.
And holy fuck did that preview load fast.

I think it was pretty obvious when he was supposedly sending death threats to the vice-president's office using his full name...
or when his co-workers asked him "uh - why did you write that email to me last night?".

The fact you're explaining how reality has no bias only proves you have no sense of humour.

"Black Hand was founded on the 6 September 1901."
Oh wait you wrote "an anarchist", as in, the assassin himself: Princip wasn't even born until 1894.
What was the point you were trying to make again? That you haven't read the long history of European anarchism?
Primus could probably put him on stage and it not change their show at all.
