If you like that, then you should try the Neo Geo version of the game. Now, THAT is fun. Pretty and large sprites, unique character designs and great sound effects make this one the best of the best. It has all of the classic action and new team super moves...
Why does everyone think that the SBLive! sounds good for music. It doesn't. It is horrible! The card is great for gaming, but sound quality is quite bad compared to cards that are even older than it is. Don't even let me get started on Creative's speaker sets.
I suggest that anyone looking for a new soundcard should go for a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz or that New Hercules or Phillips card. These all sound MUCH better than the Live! or Audigy cards. heck... The Santa Cruz even works in Linux. I think that the Hercules and Phillips cards use the same chipsets too, so they might also work. Give it a shot. I am sure that you will be pleased.
Cambridge Soundworks speakers sound horrible. I own a set of DTT2200 speakers and hate them. OGG does sound a bit clearer and more precise than MP3, even on these speakers, but they are hardly the right speakers to use to tell the difference.
Fuck You! I am so sick of you self righteous foreign assholes that think that you have a clue about how American's all work and act. I don't even know why I am responding to you, as what you write is obviously just bullshit, aimed to piss people off. You obviously haven't got a clue about what you talk about. Say what you want, but most American's embrace the idea of peace. I am so fucking sorry that we haven't experienced your sad pathetic fucking righteous life. YOu hate our ways, and you hate our culture. What you fail to realize is that your people make up part us. Why doesn't that make sense to you? Ignorant fucking retards like you are merely jealous because you can't get your act or brain together to develop a successful economy. Where the fuck do you live? Obviously nowhere all that spectacular, or else you wouldn't be so envious of American's that it makes you angry. You probably have never fucking met an American in your entire life. GET A FUCKING GRIP! THE WHOLE WORLD CAN BE GREEDY AND SELF SERVING! Quit blaming us for whatever insecurities that you have.
Once again. Fuck you! It's a shame that you feel no sadness for the people that died today. I know that I don't look on the news and laugh and mock the people that are killing eachother in other countries. Keep it up though, asshole. Then perhaps, you will make us all wish that your country is the one that gets turned into a nuked shit stain as a result of this. I will certainly have no sympathy for you after the bullshit remarks that you said.
I agree. The fastest thing that I ever did for my computer was stipe two 40gb IBM Deskstar 60GXP 7200 RPM UDMA 100 drives in a RAID-0 array. I figured that it was a much wiser decision to spend my money on an extra drive and a good mainboard with IDE RAID, than spend the cash on a faster CPU. Of course, since 1.4ghz Athlons are about $100 on www.newegg.com right now, even that is really affordable.
Anyway. The best things that you can do to add speed is add more RAM and faster drives. Granted... For some things, a faster CPU will make a difference, but for most things, slow drives will be a bottleneck.
But there would be a major problem if I have to pay a $.20 surcharge on my $.15 CDRs. Is that fair to the consumer, or the CDR manufacturer? I can only see that the RIAA benefits from this. Besides... Even if they make money off of your CDR purchases, they still are going to fight against piracy of their music. The RIAA will win in either case, then.
Anyone who would be excited over Final Fantasy 21 needs their head checked. The series started to blow when it came to the CDROM. I personally think they should have stopped with Final Fantasy VI, but they finally made a name for themselves when it came to the Playstation. It's too bad they had to dumb the game down for the masses.
This is great if you want a PC without a keyboard, and a graphics processor that is the supercharged equivalent of an S3 ViRGE. Wow. 4 MB of video ram. That gets you what? 800x600 in 24 bit color! Sweet!
Just because the PS2 will play most PS games does not mean that it will be able to boot this copy of Linux. It isn't really a game, and even has different types of libraries. PS2 is designed to run PS1 games, which are built using very strict standards. It probably won't run the PS1 Linux to be honest with you.
I don't refuse to eat McDonalds because I hate the company... I refuse to eat it because I like to eat food that is actually healthy. Nobody is forced to stuff cow sandwiches, greasy potatoes, and carbonated sugar water down their throats. I am greatful that I have a choice in what I eat and that I don't starve.
Or maybe most teens are overqualified for the outrageously low amounts of money that some companies wish to pay. I currently work for a college and do technical work all the time. I was offered a job by a a very large computer and A/V company recently, and turned the job down because they couldn't pay me the money that I requested. They offered to pay me "more than my current job." Too bad that they couldn't offer me what I already have- competitive tuition prices and flexible hours. If there were any benefits to my college tech job, these are the benfits.
It is a shame though that many smart individuals are underpaid or underemployed as a result of not having a piece of paper that says they went to school. I know how to do my job, and never again will I let someone underpay me. If they want to hire the next grunt that is happy with low pay, then by all means. This is why companies spend more money on hiring new employees time and time again.
Tolkien was a teacher of Anglo Saxon. Though I never finished reading all of his books, I found the language aspects quite fascinating. I purchased some books back then that were about the languages of Middle Earth. Anyone with interest in Tolkien or language should read them. They are quite interesting. Perhaps seeing this movie will spark some more interest for me in reading the books. It has probably been 5 or 6 years since I've picked one up. I was peering through the new paperback at the bookstore yeterday (it has all three LOR books combined) and came across some old runes. My girlfriend probably didn't know what to think when I told her "I can still read some of these runes." She doesn't get that geek stuff.
Why is Paul Reubens any different than the average pr0n surfing Slashdot reader? As disturbing as the Paul Reubens story may be, I happen to think he would make a great Golem. Just think of Pee Wee Herman with grey skin, sharp teeth, and cloudy eyes. Add that funky Pee Wee Herman suit... Now THAT'S CREEPY!
I like the article despite the misspelling. I have nothing against Intel, but I really don't care for thier monopoly on desktop computer processors. Perhaps someday soon, AMD will become a household name just like Pentium. Let's just hope that they don't have to resort to anything as stupid as those blue guys are the "bunny people."
Bill Gates was asked to write MS-DOS for the IBM personal computers. Isn't that also about a 20 year timeframe?
If it aint broke, don't try to fix it. If it is broke, replace it with NT.
Every Metorid can be played on the Dreamcast through emulation. SNES9X and Gleem have been ported to the console. If you want to be absolutely amazed, pick up the Gran Turismo 2 Bleem!pack from ebgames.com. This will allow you to play Gran Turismo 2 on your Dreamcast with antialiasing, bilinear filtering, and a 640x480 resolution, as opposed the the Playstation's paltry 320x240.

Just out of curiosity, how do you know this? I was under the impression that Linux was being adopted at a greater rate. BSD and other alternative operating systems are also growing very quickly. It is really hard to tell just how many people use these operating systems. From personal experience, I see quite a few new people start to use them every day.
I used to use Opera for Windows at work, and now that is has been available for Linux for a while- I use it at both home and work. I have found that the banner ads really aren't a hassle, but I found it worthwhile to pay the registration fee for the Linux verison, as it is good software. Good software can't always be free. Perhaps when Opera Software becomes a larger business entity, then it will be free without banners. That just can't happen right now. It is perhaps the only software that I have purchased for my Linux machine at home. My only gripe (and in my opinion, there is no reason that they have not yet implemented this) is that Java support does not yet exist in Opera for Linux. That is supposed to change soon, and they seem to update the software just about every 3 or 4 weeks.
Perhaps you use FrontPage to make your HTML? If you don't deviate from standards, then the pages will look right. I have no problems making pages for Opera. When I come accross some FrontPage designs, that is when I have problems. Opera has had to compromise quite a bit to keep it standards compliant while trying to keep up with the bigger browsers standards deviation.
If you like that, then you should try the Neo Geo version of the game. Now, THAT is fun. Pretty and large sprites, unique character designs and great sound effects make this one the best of the best. It has all of the classic action and new team super moves...
Available on a MAME box near you.

Intel Pentium III based processor, x86 instruction set, Nvidia GPU, Microsoft Operating System...
Your're right. It doesn't sound like a PC at all. Maybe it is a WebTV unit?
That a 1.4ghz Athlon is 45% slower than a 2ghz P4? I think not.

Very nice! Though I don't think that my words could have come out so nicely, that is exactly what I have been thinking all along.

These were also all 10 years old. Electronics have certainly matured.

The homepage is has been down for a while... Maybe the server is running AtheOS.
