I downloaded it and it works great! I checked this morning and it is gone again. I'm only going to use it to for light browsing when Wifi isn't available. I think a lot of iphone users use Wifi quite frequently, I know I do, so having the ability to tether makes the data plan worth the money. I suspect the 30 dollar data plan is underused my many, so this app shouldn't put too much stress on ATT's network.

LOL. Usenet will never die as long as diehard users stay with it, just like Dracula will always live, as along as there are horror film fans. Some groups on Usenet are dying, but there are thousands of groups that are not only surviving, but are thriving with users. It is nice to have a place on the internet where one can go and not be bombard by commercialism. May the power of plain text live on...

While it's true that the wealth gap is widening, the sentiment that the US has lost it's manufacturing base is a badly perpetuated myth.
Point taken. But as a someone living in the Midwest, I must say that there are countless closed factories, and people in this area have lost their "good paying" factory jobs. They are finding it hard to find work which pay comparable salaries. Service jobs maybe wonderful, but they don't pay as much. I know this is all anecdotal evidence, but I must admit that it is hard to find any products made in the United States.
I would argue that the United States has become a semi-First World country. We have lost our manufacturing base, our strong middle class is rapidly diminishing and the gap between the poor and rich is widening.
Hardware designers may come up with some beautiful and innovated designs, but there needs to be a new OS to go with the hardware which will take advantage of the machine's unique design. The iphone works because the software and hardware work together and provide a good user experience. I say this because I noticed on the screenshots that these new amazing machines were running Vista. I know they are just rendered images, but nevertheless, it takes away from the hardwares' appeal. Tablets could have been a great success if the hardware manufactures had used a better OS than XP with some extensions.
The problem with this model is that not everyone needs constant upgrades. At our office, we still you Office '97 because it does everything we need. If we are forced to pay every year for unnecessary upgrades, I believe that Open Office will be in our future.

Maybe it's just me, but when one looks closely at the video, it doesn't seem that the camera isn't even point at the objects that are being used as controls. Is it possible to down load the software? I'd like to try it for myself before getting to excited.
I think that there are still areas that benefit from having analog signal, especially rural area. So isn't there any benefits of keep a least one analog network alive? I'm jut curious.
Web Radio has been a great vehicle for me to discover new music. I have bought a lot more music lately because of discovering new artists which I heard through Web Radio. I Don't know why the industry is hell-bent on destroying a good thing for both the music industry and the consumer. I just don't get it! I'm mad and frustrated...
What we need is a solid open source DMR project that is cross-platform. Now, couple this project with an open source media player of your choice and all the problems with proprietary DMR goes way. The added benefit of open DMR is that when someone cracks the protection scheme, we have the source at our disposal to fix the problem quickly.
Keep it simple, keep it separate. All I can say is that in marriage you need alone time to do your own things. If couples do everything together, they will burnout on each other pretty fast. Trust me, it happens. You maybe in love today, but tomorrow maybe a different story, so it's much easier and cleaner to leave when couple have separate accounts.
Our TNS product is completely functional from Mac or Linux (or Windows).
I don't complete understand this statement, because I went to your website and it specifically says that your TNS product is supported in windows only. Could you please explain? Thanks.
Wouldn't a better way be to legislate that all fuel(this may of course be applied to other goods) sold in the U.S. must have been produced using methods that meet certain environmental and humanitarian requirements? Like the ones in the U.S.?

What I was trying to say is that if the 3rd world countries aren't forced to raise their standards, than we are going to be forced to lower ours in order to compete, which is bad for our country and environment. It's a big problem that just keeps getting bigger and the only people that seem to be above it is the multinational corporations which are using their advantage to get what they want from whatever country that gives it to them.
Well I live in Indiana, a state that has seen a lot of industrial job lost due to NAFTA and a general decline in U.S. auto manufacturing. So the state is doing everything possible to get jobs backs. Unfortunately, they are doing it at the cost of the environment. This is what happens when we open markets and start competing with 3rd world countries. We have to relax our standards so that we can win contracts from multinationals. The only winners are the corporations.
At our company we use ABS software packages which run on Linux servers and are accessed on the desktop via ANSI terminal. Very reliable, but it does it isn't free.
