That's easy. The JVM does not abstract the differences in file I/O between Windows and Unix. It's quite easy to accidentally create a program that does not work properly on one or the other.
It's just you. What does a patent dispute have to do with stealing code?
Software patents, as practiced in the US, are a farce. It's practically impossible not to infringe them, unless your software does nothing non-trivial.
Obviously you don't understand people. The average gamer is not scouring gaming sites looking for their next hit. They are buying Wiis and buying whatever games their local shops carry.
Apple would in no way be a slave to a third party. If Adobe lags on implementing new features, it is the developers who are out of luck. They would always have the option to rewrite their app in Objective C -- exactly as they do today.
There are several good reasons not to allow Flash, but this is not one of them.
Like he said... you're opinion is different than most. I still don't understand why anyone here makes such a big deal about the fact that Apple creates products that aren't designed for them.
You've basically said that you don't understand that people have different opinions than you. People aren't paying for less. They are paying for what they want. "Less" has nothing to do with anything. Less than what? Less than what you want? Less than what someone else provides?

Why does it bother you so much? Do you really think that your creativity is going to be stifled or that you'll lose the ability to share information with your peers or the world? I just don't understand why it matters if the whole world starts using iPads. Even Apple understands that the iPad is not the end-all and be-all of content creation or consumption.
The reason that some pages have to reload is because the iPad (like the -phone and -pod Touch) are memory limited and do not swap. Annoying it may be, but the alternative is to just crash.
I assure you that most people are not as stupid as you (think they are). I bought my iPad because it's NOT a big laptop. Why the fuck would I want one of those?
The iPad does about 90% of what I use a computer for outside of work. And I can bring it anywhere and use it fully in most places I go (i.e. AT&T has coverage). Why would I NOT want one?

Apple earns billions of dollars every year. I'm willing to bet you don't.
Doesn't make it wrong, either.
Like (macro-)evolution and astrophysics? Or do you know of experiments in building universes that the rest of us don't?
Nor sex.
Since only shitholes like you use that term, I don't have to get used to it. I may deal with shitholes, but at least they are American shitholes.
Ford Motor is still running SP2.
Who the fuck cares? Apple is doing nothing illegal. EVERY SINGLE FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION in the world tries to limit their competition.
Apple has no obligation, moral or otherwise, to help Adobe in any way.
I guess I missed those too, because that never happened for me. Perhaps you ran a crap system.
The original post had spaces, but they were removed by Sony in a firmware update.

Of course not. He lost his phone.
You also have no idea what the OP was talking about.
No.
Actually, it doesn't sound anything like that. I think you're a bitter old piece of shit. I hope you suffer endlessly for your imagined slights.

People that are incredibly stupid often say that, but they are always wrong.
Above all it has to work well.

It's a shame you're surrounded by idiots. Of course, since you're one of them, I guess you don't really notice the smell.

Given that Android uses the same renderer as the iPad, I'd have to call BS on your post.
That would be because 0.1 + 02 is 2.1. :-)
