  1. They pay taxes on all income earned in the US to the IRS. Minus deductions and stuff. What the fuck does that have to do with where the phone is manufactured?

  2. You seem to be a fucking moron. Go learn some basic economics and be shocked and amazed that at no time is the price of a product directly related to the cost of its manufacture. The cost may set a lower bound, but loss-leaders are called that for a reason. If you could buy iPhones cheaper from someone else, Apple would be gouging you. But you can't, so they aren't.

Facts are things that happen. If a candidate meets the legal qualifications for POTUS, it is a fact that they have met those qualifications. If some random shit has an opinion they pulled out of their anus, that is not a fact. So, it depends on which definition of "qualification" you are using.

I suspect that it was something other than taste. The "typical" farm animals bred for meat are easy to feed. There are still parts of the world where sheep and cows are allowed to graze, with the food coming for free (to the shepherd/farmer). Also, these animals tend to have a lot more meat per "hoof" than dogs and other animals.

Duo is at least dual-platform. Skype's quality sucks everywhere. WhatsApp didn't become popular for video chat. It became popular for text messaging. That's kind of why we're posting comments to a story about WhatsApp adding video chat.

  9. Most alternatives to FT suck horribly. Skype gets worse by the day, it seems, even without updates. Duo has bad audio, much like Hangouts before it. Hangouts was better, but not by much. On the PC you have some better options, but comparing those to mobile options is missing the point of having a mobile.

Most people in the world want stuff that works. No one cares about vendor lock-in with their phones because there's no lock-in. Get a different phone. Done,
