More like it's this running around waving our arms about the next bugaboo of the day that's going to kill us, that WILL kill us. More people die of high blood pressure and other stress related diseases than a whiff of dust, pollen or cigarette smoke. Telling people to live in constant fear of everyday appliances is going to have exactly that effect.
Try looking at the big picture. Laser printers, except for the controller circuitry and print interface, use the exact same technology of common Xerographic copy machines (first invented around 1938, almost 70 years ago). Of which Xerographic copiers have been in use over 2 times as long as laser printers (invented in 1971 by Xerox). So why is this now suddenly such a big deal?
First they blamed the cars, then smokers, then power plants, then trucks, now laser printers? Why don't we just throw up our hands and walk around with oxygen tanks and masks.
So okay, when they had Dot in the first few seasons, she had the famous "Monoboob". Then when they resurrected Reboot, they finally gave her two. So now with the movies, will they give her three breasts? That's udderly ridiculous. Hope for the breast, expect the wurst.
The reason I ask, is that for well, since NASA, et al, were entering the aerospace industry, they've been saying "Civilians have no place in outer space.". Now, a major aerospace company has proposed to have taken over a civilian space company. Then, suddenly, said civilian space company has a major explosion costing human lives. Now then, expect the obvious "This is why we said civilians have no place in outer space, against us experts!" comments.
But it needs to be mentioned anyway: For the last year or so, Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, Bridget Nelson, Mary Jo Pehl, Bill Corbett (and even Neil Patrick Harris) have been doing commentary tracks in mp3 format to accompany existing DVD releases. See http://www.rifftrax.com/ for more.
Or, perhaps one should ask if those versions of Vista that are doing this were warez products, and if that malware came preinstalled, "slipstreamed" as it were, so those who burned a copy and installed it would think they were getting nothing more than a cracked version of Vista.
You don't need a credit card, you don't need a contract, you don't even need an address. The most basic ones are about $20, are just basic phones, and most don't need any payments (unless you use the phone regularly/excessively) for 2-3 months at a time.
Hell, I've got two of them, costs me no more than $30-40 every 90 days, since I just use them for quick calls on the road. One from Virgin Mobile, the other from Tracfone. The tracfone one comes with a couple of otherwise unplayable games, but it functions as a phone perfectly well.
(1) It's cheaper to produce. (2) Corn lobby (same guys who're behind the ethanol industry). (3) 80% of Americans basically don't know better. (4) Economic terrorism against Latin America (you can still get REAL Coca Cola from Mexico, sugar and all).
Last month, multiple cameras recorded a LARGE meteor going down over Croatia, here's the video:

Here's hoping the upcoming shower will be as spectacular.
Ew! Ick! TMI man, TMI.
No need to fire up the space shuttle, a big cannon will work just fine!
They could just fart the Earth out of the asteroid's path like they did in Futurama, and end global warming to boot!
So does this mean they've discovered the complete opposite of duct tape, or should there be a midichlorian joke here?
Ohhh the Jedis are going to feel this one.

Like the giant penny you can put in the back to make it spin around and do wheelies.

Hello, are you retarded, or just dense? /. earlier about how someone snipped some wires in a NASA computer (FNAR). The fact of the matter remains that a MAJOR AEROSPACE CORPORATION bought out a MINOR AEROSPACE CORPORATION, which everyone with two brain cells to rub together knew said minor aerospace corporation would give the public a chance to reach near orbit. NASA, from the very beginning, has been vocally outspoken against space tourism. NASA, the very same organization that is a primary outsourcer to companies such as Northrop Grumman, the company that built a goodly sized chunk of every space shuttle in orbit.m posites_mojave_spaceship_two_explosion/_ id=530d01a7-2215-4ee1-9568-6edcc3904343? Does the phrase "Industrial sabotage" mean anything to you? Come on!
There was just an article on
The explosion came as part of a "routine test", and, as I may add after two days, now is exhibiting the exact same results as I predicted:

Or does anyone else find it suspicious that this happened less than two weeks after Northrop Grumman bought them out?
Damn, /. munged my URL. Well, try venificus.net then.

I think that pretty much runs the entire gamut.
