    ... errrr ... How are you gonna afford that ? I think building a simple house costs you a certain 50K euro's ... besides, last time i checked, you could just repaint, or if you're more thorough , redo your plaster cast

    How about we stop building houses on the lowest parts of alluvial flood plains?

    We've been building there because it is a great place to build harbours, and these places are usually also very fertile. It also makes us very vulnerable to rising sea-levels.

    1/1Mw is outdated, they're going for 2-5Mw ones now; and they're much cheaper than nuclear power plants(even without their hidden costs)
    2/even it is 6000 windturbines per nuclear power plant, I'll still go for those, You can put 'em up nearly anywhere. (can you build a nuclear power plant in the sea?)

    covering the surface of the Earth with solar panels or wind farms is not practical,

    not necessary. even just covering all roofs with solar panels is enough to fulfill our energy needs. or ONE windmill per mile highway.

    6.5 here. Managing messages is brain-dead; You can't really move your mails in the sent-folder to another location !!!

    Those machines would be in the hands of the very few ultra-rich and powerfull, they would have a tool for even further control of the politicians.
    A better name than 'FAST' would be 'cattle-control'.

    And those batteries are probably worth more than that $200 in raw materials, and for new batteries, they need the raw materials anyway.

    you skipped a few economy classes do you ? The non-rich can go to other banks; the upper class with stock in those banks are saved from the bankruptcy of that company (and people with a loan with those banks can keep paying off their dept... if those banks crashed, they wouldn't have to pay anymore ... bank gone! ... but people with savings at those banks would be screwed)
