What are you saying? Gay men have 2 X chromosomes? No, but gay men have certain brain structures that are like women's. It may not have anything to do with chromosomes. The gay interior designers and the like that I see on various reality shows seem to know color pretty well.
As far as enlightened societies...well...uhh...I'm sure there was one somewhere, once...maybe.
I agree that yes, the gov't can't keep a secret to save its soul (a friend's younger brother bought a model of the F-117A before it was officially unveiled), but such vehement denial, almost on top of the heels of someone saying we maybe, might have something that could possibly be a signal make it all the more suspicious to the tinfoil hat people. If SETI had just let the press speculate, then a few weeks from now said, "Nevermind. We checked it more carefully, and their really isn't anything special about it. Here's why..." then everything would be fine. Instead, though, they deny without ever really explaining why the "signal" has been discounted, making the tinfoil people suspicious.
Well, ignoring the patriarchal and oppressive nature of Western society until recently, a whole lot of those painters were also gay, which might explain part of it./Not that there's anything wrong with that.
In fact in British English, it is correct to use the plural verb form with so-called collective nouns, like the names of companies, names of rock bands, etc. I remember the first time I encountered this as a teen, watching a show about the band Queen, and hearing someone say "Queen are a band..." Brits emphasise the fact that the collective is made up of several individuals, while in the US (and maybe Canada, too. I'm not sure) the emphasis is put on the group being a single entity, which is probably why our corporations have so much (way too fucking much) power over the way things work here; they're been given the same legal status as individual people as well as the same linguistic/syntactic status.
That's not to say that NASA hasn't done some great things since or recently (Hubble, Pathfinder, Opportunity and Spirit, Voyager, Pioneer all spring to mind immediately), but there hasn't been a significant excursion into space by mankind since the last Apollo mission.
Well, maybe the ISS counts for something in that regard. *shrug*
Actually, in terms of Open Source TV, I think the point of its good is most obviously shown by the The Phantom Edit. The people who have seen it all say it is a much better version of Ep. 1 than the actual movie. I just wish someone would do an Episode 2: Edit of the Clones.
That is to say, do you know if libraries (especially any major research libraries) have begun linking to Wikipedia on said libraries' online resource pages?
The PS3 is a lie of evil pendants and dumb students.
It is dumb, stupid, evil and unworthy of life on Earth to claim that this GameTimeCube has 6 sides - or no top and bottom. Academia equates to a deadly plague.
Creation of 4 simultaneous 24 hour days, within a single rotation of Earth, empowers GameTimeCube above all XBoxes and educated stupid scientists.
If it wasn't already "excellent," Roblimo's karma is going to be through the roof after this.
sounds like this was written in some new programming language, perhaps one based on Magic.
So how much mana would I need tapped to run Photoshop in Linux?

Real storm chasing leads to really cool pictures.
Internet storm chasing leads to porn.
You mean to say porn isn't really cool pictures?

I'd rather get laid.
;)
Must be why I'm not an engineer.
Sadly, Firefox isn't affected.

You want that firefox would be affected?

I'd call my new processor an Imtell Pantiom Quattro, and install it in my genuine Sorny laptop, and then stream MP3s from it to my Magnetbox stereo.
Imtell Pantium: now with 5% more pant.
uhh, pretty sure that the parent was being sarcastic.
and we haven't done much at all comparable since.

No worries of gun toting bandits in Canada.
In NYC, they just call 'em cops.
Jenkins, however, is nearly on his deathbed, and is going/has gone to Japan for medical treatment. If/when he is healthy, things might change.
It might also have something to do with Japan's recent efforts to have greater diplomatic relations with N. Korea.
I can get Mozilla to crash my laptop at the same speed as IE if I throw it out the window. Does that count?

Federali wouldn't be a word in Spanish. Maybe Italian or Latin, but not Spanish. I think the Spanish word would be Federales.
I believe there was a typo in your post:
you mispelled "masterbate to pictures of techTV chicks" as "screw my girlfriend" and "constantly" as "6 hours".
That is to say, do you know if libraries (especially any major research libraries) have begun linking to Wikipedia on said libraries' online resource pages?
isn't FUD usually just speculation and half-truths.
All the recent stories concerning IE's horrible security have been demonstrably true.
No, it's gonna be the Nintendo GameTimeCube.

Well, I never said it was good philosophy. :)
However, it was a lot more philosophy than your typical movie goer is exposed to.
IIRC, the leaked beta does/did not have multiplayer.
