Just popped in with a friendly reminder that the effective range of 5G is 1,500 fee according to most sources. My router can get farther than that and it's got a 100 megabit connection tied to it. I heard they'd have to put a tower on just about every corner.
Or...MOVE. Go to school literally anywhere else. You know why I live where I live? Because I can afford it. What is it with this entitled BS where everyone thinks they're going to be a superstar employee and deserve to work at some giant silicon valley hellhole of a company? Get real, get a life, and get a real job after going to a real college.
Blockchains are perfect, right? WRONG. And also right. They are mathmatically flawless BUT if you outprocess the rest of the network, you can finalize a block with whatever the hell you want in it. You can form a block that says you own all bitcoins, all transactions put them in your wallet, and you're also the queen of England. The reason this "51% attack" doesn't happen it because that amount of processing power doesn't exist. That many ASICs don't exist on Earth. But let's set up a separate blockchain and separate currency called votecoin. Even if you buy a million dollars worth of graphics cards, someone could conceivably buy 1.1 million worth and forge a fake block with fake votes. So make it a billion. Oh wait, Russia has more than $1 billion. Darn. I mean getting a hold of that many GPUs would be difficult but there's always the secondary market. And then where did the first person get that many GPUs then if they're so hard to get a billion dollars worth? It doesn't work unless you can somehow tie it to an existing HUGE network lieke Ethereum, which btw also doesn't work.
More clickbait, half-true headline writing from a disgraceful "journalist." 6 hours of sleep will kill you and doing 30 minutes of cardio at least 3 times per week will do A LOT more for heart health than sleeping ever will. This article is useless, pointless nothing for fat, lazy people.
Net Neutrality is slowing down certain things and/or demanding money from the cause of the bandwidth usage. This is slowing down everything as a blanket solution to them crowding the tower for everyone else.
Apparently I'm smarter than the entirety of MS management with that title right there. Cut the force-installed game apps in Win10 and stop pretending I'm going to give you $1200 to run office for 10 years when we paid about $150/seat for Office 2003 in 2003 and used it until 2014.
Just let about a dozen cats loose in the building and they'll automatically find the warmest spots to snuggle up and take a nap on. Then you add more fans or whatever to that area. That costs basically nothing and cats are provably smarter than AI.
Oh cool, maybe we can turn it around and take a selfie on Earth as it burns and the food supply completely fails from climate change. Maybe we should have spent a billion dollars on renewable energy sources.
It legit took me a bit to figure out they didn't mean subway restaurants but that's probably because in my area they lock up the garbage at the walgreens.
Oh really? Some fringe political whining sticker is how you caught the nut job neo-communist feminist SJW? Did the blue/purple/red hair not give it away?
If you want to know what hell is like, run Windows 10 on a celeron N4xxx or N3xxx CPU. They do sell these, mostly HP 15-series laptops btw so I know firsthand. That's the chip of choice for almost all chromebooks then you add the pathetically underperforming 32GB flash storage device (SSD is far too generous of a title) and 4GB of RAM and it take about 4 minutes to fully load and open and render one page in any web browser.
A lot of airports currently have a dude riding around on a golf cart with shotgun shell blanks and "seal bombs" aka basically quarter sticks of dyanmite that are meant to scare away seals but work for birds too. That is probably the #1 most sought after job (by males at least) in the entire world and eliminating it is simply unacceptable due to its dream-crushing for everyone aware of it.
This would work perfectly and be awesome since microtransactions and 10 minute or less clearing of payments with zero fraud is what crypto does BUT people investing in these coins and an upward trend and miners of it wanting to make money will screw with it far too hard. They'd have to standardize the price. For example, there is a coin where 1 unit of it = $1 USD and always will. But they can implement that. The code exists. If they do, it'd be perfect. Otherwise your music would cost $1 one day and $5 the next because of an investor pump and dump scheme.
All my phones, tablets, and portable batteries use micro-USB. In fact most phones use type-C now (apparently not my 2018 Samsung J7 though). This article is exclusively talking about Apple, isn't it? Apple customers are beyond all hope and if Apple's monopoly abuse hasn't been stopped by now it never will. Just give up and let the idiots spend 10x more.
I've been in the bitcoin community since 2009. Let me help you with this story. Blockchain technology has nothing to do with any of this. It doesn't assist in logistics in any way. It helps untrusted entities prove they submitted data correctly and one time. The end. If you don't trust your logistics workers and truck drivers and warehouse staff, fire them. Blockchain technology is for customer-facing systems not internal product tracking.
Alcohol kills 99.9% of bacteria. “We found that the new isolates, post-2010, were 10 times more tolerant to alcohol exposure than the earlier isolates" is the quote they're using. So...that's still not enough to infect someone. now I know that 99.9% of a blanket rate for all bacteria combined but still, 1000x would be concerning, not 10x. Although this does seem incredibly odd. Alcohol has been used to kill bacteria for what,10,000 years for billions of humans? It's such basic cellular chemistry it's like saying bacteria are becoming resistant to 200 degree heat. It just simply cannot happen. Maybe by some fluke they're 10x more resistant but I seriously doubt that it will progress a whole lot further than that. It's not chemically possible. The materials that would make up the bacteria's cells would be SO different and SO exotic at that point, it probably wouldn't even be able to interact with a human body anymore.
Isn't it great that they're selling overprices luxury cars to rich former Prius owners so they can sniff their own farts over how great they are to offload their gasoline burning for the coal burning plant down the street. We need a real solution. Electric cars + renewable localized sources or better yet renewable mass energy distribution. Electric cars by themselves do nothing and Tesla especially does nothing with those prices. It'll be something closer to a Chevy Volt that actually changes things, if the electricity doesn't come from fossil fuels at the plant that is.
Maybe they should sue themselves for negligence for being stupid enough to invest in Facebook. Anyone anywhere ever could tell you that's not a good investment and it's a dying company that 100% of their customers hate.
You better have a damn good lawyer if you shoot and unarmed teen in the dark and just tell them to take your word for it that you thought you saw a knife or gun or something. You can only shoot someone in almost any state if they're threatening you, not just because they broke into your property. I will say though as a self protection expert, the victims made a huge mistake getting close enough to him to shove him multiple times. You have no idea if he has a weapon. The proper, recommended procedure is create distance, get to a safe, barricadeable area like behind a locked door, call 911, and acquire any improvised weapon you can find. And yeah, California is a disgrace to the constitution.
Humans can't correctly match human faces to names a good portion of the time. How exactly are computers going to? This will never work. Furthermore, faces aren't unchanging. People put on weight, shave, get scars, devel moles, get sunburns, wear glasses, etc. This is just 100% bullshit technology that can never and will never work. Use a fingerprint or iris scan or something.

Hey, if someone's got a cute dog I'm shopping there. There's value there.

Well time to give it up and make technology for "dank fakes" where you take a Shiba Inu's head and render it onto someone's body in a video.

We should sue people who make road because their users do all kinds of illegal stuff on them like transporting illegal goods, drunk driving, etc.

Can we all pitch in like $5 to pay some flat Earth idiot to go on this thing?
Did you hear about the guy who sued and won over "all you can eat fish" and they ran out? He won lol.
