Most passenger jets have two cabin-pressure valves, with separate motors operating each. Because aircraft makers want redundancy on safety systems, the planes have three motors for each valve, with different chips controlling each motor. The Boeing 777, for example, has cabin-pressure chips made by Motorola Inc., Intel Corp. and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. Most jetliners also have a manual override so that the pilot can take control in an emergency.
Airbus has acknowledged that its designers faced challenges as they attempted to reduce the A380's weight. Early on, the company elected to go with four outflow valves on the A380, with only one motor on each valve, which is slightly larger than a cabin window. Each motor uses a TTTech controller chip, and there is no manual override system.
Well... trow one of theese onto an x850 (wont fit an 6800) and i would imagine it will be pretty toasty, but still stable. Pretty much as i imagine your card is. All this talk about how much temp is too much is IMO just BS as long as it doesent crash. However disabeling the fan on the (relativly) small and usually shrouded (sp?) standard heatsinks on newer cards propably wont work.
I assume the money goes mostly to the reserarch of the autonomus part...
the remote part isent particulatly expensive and doable with off the shelf RC gear and random junk + an old car as demonstrated in the rather bad quality clip on this page...

In fact the most efficient ICE is some diesel engine that's the size of a house and is over 50% efficient, if I properly recall.
I believe This is the engine you're refering to...?
Appearantly the explosion was powerful enough to make shrapnel put marks in the ceiling:) however he threw the phone on the floor when it started smoking, so noone was hurt.
from here:
AQWON's high speed is about 50 km/h (31m/h), the power is 2,6 kWh and the weight is minimal. There is no maintenance service required. Everything is included in the price of 5.600,-- EURO for this very new zero-emission-scooter. The official presentation will be held at the fair Hannover Messe Industrie in April 2003 in Germany.
I think there are two stroke engines wich have oil pan lubrication in the same way as bigger engines.(although i could be wrong, and i can't think of any specific examples.) But i guess bigger two stroke motor cycles like 250-500 ccm "?motoGP class?" racing cycles don't have mixed fuel/oil or oil injection
Actually Gold is significantly worse than copper in thermal conductivity (it's a better electrical conductor) you can see a cpu cooler review here discussing this. silver however is marginally better.
I believe the minidisks come in two versions. one md-Audio and one called md-Data, in fact, i know tis is true. At least according to a book i read on the MD system while studying Audio/video Repair. The point whith this is that the MD's for data and the ones for audio are PHYSICALLY(!) different (MDA is slightly thinner etc...). I'll never forgive SONY for this one:) Honestly i dont know why somone hasent made a md drive for pc's that can use audio md's, but i guess there is either som legal or technical issues about this. The former is the most propable i guess:)
Your best bet would be to get that kind of (army?)west they're using in the stargate movie...
I guess you would'nt need it to bee bulletproof though...:)
I can't see what would be different for the 380.
It is. appearantly to save weight...

Interesting. Does that alloy have a name btw?

A soul doesent neccesary have to refer to something religious or supernatural.
humm. You dident mirror the image... its usless iow.

I think he meant airport X-Ray scanners and the like...
Star Trek: File This
Humm... Whats even more funny is the fact that if i'd had mod points and seen that one you'd gotten a "redundant" from me :)
TSIA
Unfortunatly the article is in norvegian.

(He _was_ using an unoriginal battery too)

Even if its only 4MHz it would have been much cooler if it has been watercooled (since its already floating in water) haha.. .zzZZ
