Backstreet Boys? I thought the maximum sentence is being forced to listen to Barry Manilow. But then again being forced to listen to both is cruel and unusual punishment.
So RIAA is using the IP addresses and then working through court to find out who these individuals are. But most IP addresses assigned to cable and adsl customers are dynamic and not static. I wouldn't think that ISPs keep tabs as to who they assigned that particular IP address to within the last three months. Maybe they can tell who has it at the moment but that could change by the time the ISP releases the information to the courts and then it could be a totaly different person from the one who did the file shareing. They would be barking up the wrong tree by then and cause an innocent individual some serious inconvenience.
Cold turkey... its the only way. You'll have a headache and feel sluggish for a day. Then it will be over. If the headaches get to bad take something for it but look at the label to make sure it has no cafine in it. Drink lots of water and stay away from sodas, the sodium could make the headaches worse.
Not only a waste of time but wasn't there a mention some time ago that spammers like Linux too? This new technique is only going to affect Microsoft products right? I don't see how how they're going to make the open source community adopt this technique. They already do everything they can to throw a monkey wrench in the works and they still haven't truly managed to screw things up. The virus infected machines are another good point but all this would do is push more spammers to use Linux or something else.
It's well known that you can run a diesel engine on cooking oil. Just as long as its filtered and you switch back to dino diesel for a cool down before shutting it off. Here's a great site for more info on biodiesel. Veggie Van. I recomend the book that they sell. From the Fryer to the Fuel Tank.
If this were real. Two months to the day it comes out someone finds an exploit to get control of your computer through the iGrill connection. Getting your computer grilled by an iGrill would really suck.
My vision was a -1.5 diopter with a stigma before I had it done. I was lucky though to have it so small. If your vision is larger than 4.0 either way. The best that Lasik can do for you is lessen it so you won't have such a large optical prescription. For me though my vision was corrected from 20/35 to 20/10. I was one of the lucky ones to have my vision corrected so well. It took care of the stigma too. I had the surgery in the morning and I was driven home to rest for the day. I was back at work the following day. I had eye drops to put in every hour for the day right after the surgery. I couln't open my eyes until late in the afternoon. It felt like I had sand in them. After that for the next two weeks or so I had drop to put in every four hours or so. They were antibiotics and antiflamatories. I had heard of some horror stories from people who had it done before I did it. One lost his vision for a year. His sight milked up due to his eyes becoming inflamed because apparently he failed to put in the drops when he should have and his body reacted not too kindy to the surgery. The only bad side effect that I have from the surgery is the fact that I'm a bit more sensative to bad air and my eyes dry out. But I combat that with Refresh when I need to wet my eyes. Aside from that, I'm happy with the results. No problems with night vision, no halos around lights either.
What about Time Warner's Movies on Demand? Even though they're only a 24 hr rental. You don't have to deal with DVD's or snail mail and you can have as many as you can pay for and watch in a day.
Was he trying to show the artistic side of him? Or did he really want to be taken seriously? If he wanted to be taken seriously he should have used proper grammar. I haven't read the whole thing but was there a point that he was trying to make with his near h4x0r style of writing?
don't say it. No one is forcing these people to say "under God". No one would jump on them for omitting two words. Its a free country, isn't it? How is it hurting them that those words are there? I wonder how many individuals refuse to say the Pledge of Allegiance at all? Do we jump on them when they don't? No,its their right not to. We need to take a closer look at these individuals and why they are here when they do that but we don't force them to say something that they don't believe in. This is political correctness gone over the top. This is one example where being PC is hurting America. I for one will keep on saying the Pledge as I have always known it.
"It is absolutely impossible to isolate China on the Internet today when the exchange of information is so frequent," Xinhua quoted Yang Lu
Funny, we seem to be doing a good job of it if China is screaming about it. Looks like we're not going to let up either until the Admins over there DO SOMETHING to SECURE their servers!
On a offhand conversation with some XBox owners they had said that they were happy with the performance of the console. However they had complained that the XBox overheated and shut down after about 4 hours of continuous play. Has anyone had or heard about this problem with the XBox?
Its interesting to note that most spammers get their email addresses by looking for them on web pages or through news groups. Well now Kim Deok-hyun will get more since he so kindly left his email address at the bottom of the article for the spam spiders to pick up.
In an interview I had read (I think it was either the CEO or VP of customer support in it). They had said that they purposly made it hard for someone to locate the support phone number. Just to keep the support phone calls down. Even then I don't think if you did find it would you really get a live human being. A sure sign of a shaddy company indeed.
You can burn just about any fuel in a turbine (gas, diesel, bio-diesel, hydrogen, butane, methane, etc..). He never mentioned making the microturbines the same way as the nano turbines. Turbines burn cleaner and they are more efficient as far as fuel consumption to power rato goes. Why do you think they're used for power generation in plants that use natural gas? Hydrogren would be the best fuel for a nano-turbine. The smaller a turbine gets, the harder it is to make it work because of the size of the compressor blades.
You know I goto/have gone to a lot of sites that use these so called private trackable URLs. One of them happened to have been Amazon before the site decided to do what Tumbleweed is doing now. I tell you the morons at the USPTO will give me a patent on the hair from my cat if I tried. This isn't new at all and its unenforceable. Someone needs to give them a reality check on the technical front. However I don't thing our new illustrious President is up for the job.
It isn't theft of they have paid for the service. If you have a clause in your Terms of Service or Acceptable Usage contract that says a customer may only have a certain amount of bandwidth, fine, take him down. If he caught doing the Warez shuffle, yea, take him down. A paying customer can't be nailed for theft of service if the ISP doesn't enforce its bandwidth limitations. Did you ever take in to account that the customer might have created the file himself and it was just popular?
Yea, thats why he posts as anon. Looks like an ad for a refer magnet to me. I'll use it hold up my papers. This isn't exactly the place to pitch your wares guy.
Its not about broadcasts though. They have even barred the athletes from publishing their diaries on the net. Doing that would hardly put a dent in the precious viewing time that the TV networks have paid for. Thats over doing it. I think that the IOC has gotten way too greedy and since no one has challenged them they will continue to step on the rights of athletes to do what they wish with their own words while competing in the Olympics (ooops will I get sued now for mentioning that word?). Do you think a boycott is in order?
Ok, your in a tough situation. Your people are not trained for whats comming up so that puts you in a "Your damned if you do, your damned if you don't" position. On one hand if you train, your afraid that your employees with their newly found knowlege will jump ship. On the other, if they don't receive the training, your business will fall behind. I do believe that this is called being between a rock and a hard place.
My suggestion to you is to place your business/place of employment first. You'll have some individuals who will jump ship and others that will be loyal. The individuals who jump ship for greener pastures so to speak will find that the consequenses of jumping ship so early in the game may not be so good. It just doesn't look so good if you bite the hand that feeds you. When a potential new employer asks him/her how much experience they have in administering Mac's, what do you think they can say? And when they see that they are asked not to contact the former employer. Won't that raise a question? If they do contact you and find out that you just paid for their training. What will they think of their loyalty? Doesn't look so good to burn down a bridge does it?

Anyone want to go in on creating a few PC Rooms there? Looks like they'll be very popular there if there's no fat pipes to the net available. :)

Microsoft keeps on letting the rope out on this OS. But for some reason they haven't hanged themselves yet. I can't wait till they do.
