    OK so I went and searched for "office security cameras" and that pretty much just turned up companies selling cameras. I then tried "office security cameras HOT XXX ACTION" and that DID yield me some results... But no passwords on sticky notes :( Rule 34 should kick in eventually, through, right?

    Seriously though, I'm guessing most office security cameras are too low-res and they give a wide-area view so as to make it pretty damn difficult to be able to get someone's PW that way.

    VxWorks is a real-time OS made and sold by Wind River. So while yes they do *support* VxWorks, it goes a bit beyond that.

    A pink or reddish tone is a lot better at illuminating streets than a faux white spectrum that has high peaks in the blue region.

    Better, or just what people are more used to?

    And while the lumens/watt metric may not currently be as high for LEDs as other types of lighting (although it is constantly improving), LEDs provide plenty of other benefits such as energy efficiency, environmental impact, and lifetime.

    Training from Microsoft is the best way to learn to use word processors and spreadsheets.They did invent them after all.

    GP made a reasonable point that "people are better off learning those skills in Windows, since at that level, that is what they will be using in their new job." You are just being a passive-aggressive douche.

    Yep, e-cigarettes. I don't understand the name. Can your cigarette surf the web? Can you print out nicotine using your inkjet printer? I didn't think so.

    What you're looking for is the iCigarette -- it lets you do all the stuff you mentioned. Just like anyone else, really, but never has lung cancer looked so trendy.

    Yeah I found the notion of "balance" coming from kdawson to be pretty hilarious too. Sure, every news/opinion outlet is gonna have its biases, but Slashdot always has to have that one editor who's on just a bit more of a crusade than the others.
