    I don't have an apply laptop, but the pc ones I have access to it's stupid simple to remove the hard drive. Only a complete imbecile would think it's necessary to destroy the computer to destroy the data. Then again, destroying the hard drive would only get rid of one copy of something you can be sure there are hundreds if not thousands of copies out there now.
    It's kind of like burning down the barn because the horse got out of the stall a century ago and now has a massive herd of descendants.

    That is the biggest lie I have heard all week. This is exactly what this legislation is designed to do: Make it possible to utterly destroy the friends and family of anyone that dares speak out against the regime. Mr Miranda (how ironic is it that someone named Miranda had his rights so obviously trampled upon), is lucky to not have been secretly imprisoned. Everyone even remotely involved signing the order for his detainment should be jailed.

    I see no issue wishing a drone strike against this traitor. Ass-ange thought it was his own justification for what he has done.     You cant be a traitor to a country you hold no allegiance to.

    I'm pretty sure the threat of life imprisonment for revealing "secrets" was and is a bit more of a deterrent than the loss of wages ever could hope to be. If someone kicks you while holding a gun to your face are you worried about their foot or the gun?

    And if you pull a gun on someone with nothing to lose? They just might decide to take you with them.

    I've always been fascinated by people who keep dangerous pets or work with them. They often seem to hold the belief that their relationship with these creatures transcends their instinctive nature to kill.

    Back in the Seventies there was an article on these folks in the short-lived US edition of Geo Magazine. The writer interviewed some, and noticed a recurring thread: they stoutly maintained that Leo would never hurt them; they had a good-sized bandage somewhere on them; and the first thing out of their mouths was a lame description of a kitchen accident...

    Battered owner syndrome.

    I have seen a number of vegans/vegetarians come out pro-vatmeat.
    Vegans/vegetarians are almost always militantly anti-GMO.

    Can the fledgling vatmeat industry avoid being lumped into GMO?
