With that many people in China and relatively inexpensive labour cost, I can almost guarantee that it is far more cheaper and efficient to deliver products using human than the drone.
I have used built-in and other mail clients on android. For the most part they are OK for emails. Contacts / Calendar works relatively well though I much prefer my personal contacts are totally separated from my work contacts. However, when comes to public folders, which my company makes use of, would be a god send if outlook client on android supports it.
I don't think it is that difficult to decrypt an encrypted phone -- at least on those comes with "touch id". Sir, do you want us to unlock your phone with your own finger prints or you rather do it yourself?
Not that I am a facebook user. The better idea is to introduce vote up and down. Those with highest vote has better chance to show up on the stupid feeds.
I don't think it is necessary to print the freaking 5 storey building -- especially right in the city where building materials are readily available. One could do it does not mean one should do it.
It may comes in handy and cheaper when one is to "print" a house in a remote location: arctic, remote islands, etc.
If someone is genuinely trying to convey a message, they wouldn't swear at my mother either. If they do, all their efforts will be lost by due to a punch in the face.
Right -- combing one's behaviour for his/her criminal intent is so 70's. The big data today could determine if someone will be a criminal/terrorist when the person hasn't even born yet. That way pregnancy could be terminated ahead of time and we will enjoy world peace every single day.
In most developed countries -- law enforcement could get a hold of what they want by simply getting a court order. If they want to tap into my phone line, as long as they could justify that in front of a judge, they will get it. If they suspect person X has a tie to a terrorist organization, why not get a court order to spy the shit out of this person. What's wrong with this process?
Since when/. pay for windows?
Do you think MS would go with buying a $299 laptop with a $10/month subscription? They may go with 2 year subscription free. After that, your computer would stop getting updates. But if you pay $x (either a monthly or annual fee), you are getting windows as well as onedrive, skype, ms office, etc. I think this model works. I never paid a penny to MS directly until I saw the offer on office 365. I couldn't resist even it does not worth the money for MS office alone, but combined with unlimited onedrive, skype, etc, I bit.
I don't remember I've hired anyone screened by HR. HR requires the job description and skill set written down in a way they could digest. When I hire people, I'm less concern about people's skill matching what's on the job description, but more concern about the person's knowledge in general, ability to adapt to changing environment, and whether a fit to the group. I don't know how to write these criteria down in the job description.
I intentionally created really detailed job description/requirements which I don't think HR could find anyone matches the requirements. To my surprise, they found 2 individuals which their skill-sets on their resumes match the requirements.
I would have thought that the cost of the physical train is likely a small fraction of the fare price consumers pay. It probably wouldn't help consumers that much, if any.
These gun / weapon companies are forward thinking. Real guns could be cheaper and better than 3D printed guns today, it may be a different story a few years from now.
I think you got a point. The "free" in open source means "freedom" to me. I'm free to choose what works for me. When comes to support, company could choose to support windows or redhat but it is almost impossible to support *my* linux.
We need additional law to prevent people from printing 3d gun because gun companies will lost revenue. Not safety reason. I can also tell you that it is almost cheaper, easier, faster, and more efficient for ISIS to acquire weapons than acquiring these stupid 3D printers.
I suspect Apple is making this news release because of secret court order asking them to do. It is the same as law enforcement saying imessage is uncrackable. All they (the government) want is for you to voluntary turning over your information thinking that they are secured.
That reminded me what my wife told me at her company event recently. He said most management uses either iphone or blackberry while most younger staff members use android. Mind you that may be change because of the bigger and badder iphone 6 size.:-)
... iwatch has an iphone app. Seriously, I would like a watch to replace all the mess I carry with me. Anything short of that means I have to carry additional piece of equipment for nothing.
I can't wait to receive discount for being a good driver. By tracking my usage pattern on my phone, insurance companies will be surprised how good am I when I'm behind the wheel. They will all fight to get me as a customer.
In turn, I will go out to pay a $25 cheapo phone and tell them that is my main phone. They can track it day and night, the phone will never get used whether I'm behind the wheel or in my house:-)
I can't wait.
> Seriously.. my cell phone has 2 GB of ram.... This laptop will be nearly unusable without more memory.
... except your cell phone is $700 while this cheapo laptop is $200. Sure enough you could pay $500 for a laptop with 10GB of ram. You're not comparing apple to apple.

Rep: I’m just trying to figure out here what it is about Comcast service that you’re not liking.
Block: This phone call is actually a really amazing representative example of why I don’t want to stay with Comcast. Can you please cancel our service?
Rep: Okay, but I’m trying to help you.
Block: The way you can help me is by disconnecting my service.
Rep: But how is that helping you? How is that helping you? Explain to me how that is helping you.
Block: Because that’s what I want.
Rep: Okay, so why is that what you want?

Don't you know bullies pick their victim? Would they pick someone who is bigger and badder than them?

That does not protect you from flooding, fires, etc.

It should read "TechCentral almost got scammed by call center scammers". He had to pull the plug on the wireless router to disconnect the scammer.

Just in case you don't know, war crime is a term used to legitimize the punishment of the losers after the war ended.

This is not human, it is robot.
Yes, I need all the juice to play angry birds.
