  1. For Rich Folks Only on Nvidia Reintroduces SLI with GeForce 6800 Series · · Score: 5, Interesting

These cards are expensive enough, now they are suggesting we buy 2!?

I guess if you have a lot of money and want to play with a (marginal) advantage, an SLI setup is for you.

As for myself, I am a poor college student not even able to afford 1 of these cards. A situation I think is similar to a lot of other geeks/gamers.

Which begs the question, who is this aimed at?

Of course, this raises the question of who comprises the community, businesses or enthusiasts?

Very true. I have had a hard time explaining the benefits of Bluetooth because of two reasons:

    1) The people behind the marketting have done a terrible job selling this spec. Everyone and their mother knows of 802.11(b or g) or as "Wi-Fi"
    2) Quite frankly due to the price, the use of Bluetooth is limited. I can setup a Wi-Fi print server, connect to other PCs through Wi-Fi or RJ-45 or IEEE 1394. Pretty much other than wireless keyboards or connecting to my cell phone bluetooth just isn't worth it.

Too bad, considering that it is a real great specification :(.

Obviously no computer can be perfect, since computers were built by man. Man is imperfect, therefore his creations are as such. Books like this help to point that out to people who believe that simply not using Windows will mean that nothing will ever fail.
