Many radio channels (and Television) in Sweden are government controlled and profanity is 100% unmonitored both in English and in Swedish. There is more freedom of speech elsewhere than there is in the US.
It would be entertaining seeing tons of cars just parked on the side of the highway. Also you now run into the problem of safety pulling back into highspeed traffic from the shoulders.
"Just pulling over" is difficult to do. People tend to pull over and want to assist thinking you are having car problems or your blocking the shoulders that possible emergency vehicles need to use to get by.
The interesting thing about this is that when I was in Sweden visiting a friend, I brought a stack of US DVD Movies (region 1, NTSC) and his DVD player played it without issue and even converted the NTSC to PAL signal before outputting to the TV. This wasn't something he bought or modded to do specifically. Just a stock DVD player that his parents got without a clue. What's funny is that movies are normally released in the US (big budget) before going overseas months later, so release scheduling wouldn't work. But, this could be an isolated incident.
Also, if you are not one, but have a contractor badge with some official looking logo:) they will say "Good enough for me" and your hooked up then too.
Are you a federal/government employee by any chance? I know they give discounts to those who are. Also I believe certain discounts can be given by the salesmen at the Apple Store especially if you know them.
Don't forget that T-Mobile offers the most coverage for International SMS also. Most people lock their phone to Digital Only anyways. So the coverage is about the same.
I have T-Mobile and I haven't seen a Number portability surcharge yet. I wonder since T-Mobile is a German Telecommunications company that they already had the technology in place (in the US, brought from Europe) and therefore had no costs that they needed to recoup. On TV, they were the first commerical to offer "bring your number to us." the day the service was available.
Better than a wart protruding off my laptop.

Is Bluetooth Dead?

I have no idea where he is getting that from. Nearly every personal electronic device of mine has bluetooth including my Nokia headset, 3650 , mouse, PowerBook G4, and my PDA's. I don't even actively seek for bluetooth devices they tend to get that.
I am personally tired of getting external periphials such as wireless keyboards and mice which require me to have a wart hanging off the side of my laptop.
What about area codes? Even with number portability, what will happen when we move to another area? Will they have the right to revoke it then? For example: Hawaii is 808. If i move to DC which is 202 will I be able to keep 808? There will be massive confusion on long distance charges from land lines, who's where, and such. Best Idea would to have area codes which are specifically "mobile area codes."
The phones suck? T-Mobile is a GSM provider. You can get any phone you want as long as it's unlocked or T-Mobile locked. GSM have some of the best phones. You want a sucky phone? Try the CDMA network.
My service has been nothing but wonderful with them. My phone even rings when I am in Sweden!
Will we be able to use the upgrade coupon that comes in the box with new systems or will they refuse them, like they have in the past. I believe we are entitled to up to 3 upgrades from the purchase of the system.
What about computers sold by i.e DELL that is bundled with this? I remember that XP Pro didn't require me to activate it. Could I possibly have a pirated version of XP? (I know I don't) I wonder if pre-bundled software will require activation as well. Also, what about corporate editions? Will IT have the headache of activating each computers client app or will it still work the way it does now where the server just pushes the app onto the client?
A Passport account does not require a @msn.com or @hotmail.com. M$ allows you to use your own E-Mail address. So 200 Million Passport accounts doesn't nessarily mean 200 hotmail and msn accounts.
Well. The government wouldn't be able to use these sats for Global Human Tracking. If the handsets are clunky, think about how clunky the chip under skin would be? And if you needed to run, all you would have to do is go indoors and they would lose the signal.
Plus what about recharging it? Sure you can send a frequency that charges the caps (if you could make them that small). But not enough to broadcast a signal to the atmosphere.
I think it is a little bit more complicated than that. Motorola said "Qualified Buyers" meaning someone that would put it to good use. Plus with that sum of money. They would have to give Ebay a huge chunk for the "End of Auction Fee."
The only exception is the things you're not allowed to say
Where is the freedom in that?

Being in Sweden, I thought the Gr stood for "Grej" which means "thing" so Alt-Thing :)
What if he used the 'mv' or 'move' command instead ;P
That's not copying.
Nor, can they post anything without a WYSIWYG html editor with frontpage extensions on the unix server.

Yes, they were indispensible when hurricanes (i.e. Flordia) and other disasters knock out other "modern" communication systems.
As you can see, this person did not pay his royalties and thus, his link displays as text.
