Boston and all stores within 15mi of it = deadzone for Wiis. My friend found mine on pure chance - He was walking through the Watertown Best Buy when they discovered an unopened shipment box that had 4 Wiis in it. They were sold as soon as they hit the floor.
I really hope that Warhammer has an incredible learning curve and involves actual skill. Maybe then I won't have people asking my warlock to make them food or other such crap.
pre-orders were more or less unannounced and had *very* limited availability. My friend was tipped off the night before, showed up at 6am, and there were still 5 people in front of him.
I'm sure Uwe would be wearing a cup... so the proper move for a muay thai kickboxer would be either - remove Uwe's head from his shoulders with a shin to his neck - clench with him then drive a knee into his face
I could remove a ton of wiring if WUSB was supported by all my electronics.
Sure, I'd still need power cables for a lot of this stuff, but I could put my consoles beside my couch and limit the wires cutting across my room. I could play movies/tv shows on my tv from my PC without tossing them on my xbox first...
I think wifi should have been put into audio recievers already so we could have sound setups where you don't need to hook up all your crap to it - just set your device to transmit mode and there you go. God that could be a mess in an apt building though...
F1GP may have been ahead of it's time... but GT3 was one of the few racing sims that really got me hooked. The only issues I have stem from the agreements made with auto companies... It's ridiculous how picky they are about how their cars are used (no damage models) and what cars are allowed.
Well... all the homeschooled kids I've known (5) have had issues that appear to be rooted in their lack of a broader social experience during their upbringing.
Of course 2 of those were the children of crazed christian parents who thought public schools were going to teach lies and denounce god or some such nonsense...
The PSP is $250? Nobody is ever going to buy a handheld for so much money! DS/GBA FTW!!!
While the PSP hasn't exactly blown away all other competition, they've still done pretty well considering what a weak game line-up they *still* have.
PS3 on the other hand will have some amazing games at launch/shortly thereafter... Only thing that looks cool on the radar for Xbox360-only is Dead Rising.
I waited until I could pick up a modded xbox. I need to get my friend to upgrade me from an 80gb to a 120gb drive though... need more space for ISOs... heh.
While I've slowly accepted that console FPSing isn't as horrible as it was before (GRAW has a decent move/look setup) I still don't think it's anywhere near as good a a kb/m setup.
a) If they put console-players and PC-players in the same world/realm/whatever. I'd love it if Halo 2 supports console vs PC... it'd have to be 5 on 1 just to keep things "even".
b) If they dumb down/scale the UI/game so it functions better on Console (see Oblivion)
The counterpoint of course would be - They are breaking a law. The job of the police is to enforce the law.
... meh. The MPAA + Movie Theaters are a whole sack of lame.
That said the law in and of itself is
Looks like I'm going to Marlboro this weekend ...

It *is* the mother of all games ...
I used to play it all the time.

It's not as if the dues are a financial burden or something

I'm assuming $0 for the emulator, $10-20 per game
the first one was pretty spot on I thought ...

Quake had a few fantasy/rpg mods. Some are still active. There was also the first surfing maps/mods, racing mods, and tons of machinimas.
... created a ton of awesome multiplayer mods since it was one of the first *really* widely played multiplayer games.
Quake mods were really top notch

F.E.A.R. runs widescreen just fine on my Dell 20.1" ... never had issues with widescreen support.
