    I doubt I would have the business process modeling job that I have today if it weren't for my experience playing and designing games (MUDs) in college. The two have proven to be remarkably similar. MUDs almost got me kicked out of school too. Now they have game design classes. Bitches.

    This is why he will not get my vote.

    I am a decendent of immigrants to the US. Certainly there have been multiple non-native US citizens that could meet the qualifications for a good US president but I have a foundational principle that I feel at the core of my being: if you want to lead the entire nation I demand your blood in the soil from birth to know where your loyalties are rooted.

    If I wanted a content-free website of ads there are already plenty to choose from.

    Here, here. I still get 2+ weeks per charge on my PalmV purchased back in 1999. Granted it doesn't have wireless networking or GPS but still... even my mobile phone can go 3 days of "always on".

    The electronics item I love the most is my Seiko kinetic watch. 4+ years and I haven't had to change the battery.. because there is no battery!

    Why is battery life so short everywhere I look? I don't get it. They ran moon orbiters on less juice than a coffee maker. Why can't we get batteries that last more than an afternoon? GRRR! I hate batteries.

    I own one of four cars where I work that are the same make, model, year, color, and package. The only way I can tell them apart after a long day at work (when I forget exactly where I parked) is by looking at the dirt pattern. Each vehicle is distinctive -- except when washed, obviously.
