I have the opposite experience. My only explanation as to the quality difference is rounding errors in the Photoshop code. The quality of Gimp is much higher than Photoshop. Maybe you're not using L series lenses or equivalent so you actually have a good starting point.
I didn't realize it was the video card blowing caps. I just heard what sounded like a gunshot every couple of weeks while wondering what was going on. I didn't take the time to package their junk up and mail to them to get another piece of junk. I'll just never buy EVGA again. FYI Seasonic is about as good of a brand of power supply as you can get. They were one of the very first companies to get an 80+ certification, mostly because they were about the only company already making ATX power supplies that were that efficient.
If you want to have fewer problems buy the most expensive manufacturer of a given gpu, not the cheapest. I generally try and stick with gigabyte or evga.
EVGA is crap, I had one only a few months old blow out a cap every week or two until the third time it stopped working. Sounded like gun fire every time. That was five years ago. The same Seasonic 80+ supply is going strong today powering a PNY Nvidia card.
I've been running Linux as my Desktop OS for over a decade. Often when using a client's Windows machine I get quite frustrated that MS can't implement the 2nd easier to use copy/paste buffer that Linux uses. Personally I have a hard time grasping why people settle for such a low grade incomplete OS other than just using what comes with the machine. Compared to Linux, the driver support on Windows is horrible; There are more supported devices for Linux than any individual version of Windows. When I plug in a USB device or card, I don't have to track down a driver; it just works. If you don't like Gnome, run Enlightenment. Linux (or a BSD) gives me a choice of better options than the Explorer desktop.
Years ago at an email company I wrote a module to retrieve email from Hotmail. I was able (with a coworker's help) to reverse engineer the cram-MD5 "backdoor" log-in that Outlook used. I do not remember ever running into a failed log-in check with that method.
I had a similar experience, except I was I only vegetarian for about 4 months. I gained an inch a month on my waist during that time. I took the weight off as fast as I put it on after I went back to eating lots of meat. Also I realized how much my energy level had decreased during that time. My blood pressure went back down and I just plain felt better.
I dont think I've ever met someone with a windows phone.
I have a Windows phone. Windows sucked really bad however so I put Android on it. I'm sure I count in the statistics for Microsoft and against Android.
I've been using Nexenta to get ZFS for about 5 years, however earlier this year I switched my new installs to Linux. ZFS on Linux has been working great for me and my clients. This is not to be confused with fuse ZFS.
Here's the end of my brief "conversation" with Elbot:
Elbot: Mark Twain said: 'Everyone talks about the weather but nobody does anything about it.' You could say that about the global warming, too. Me: My favorite mark twain weather quote is "The coldest winter I ever spent was my summer in San Francisco". Elbot: Is this one of those things you'd take with you to a lonely desert island?
You're wrong, but you're close. Diesels ignite via compression only. Glow plugs only heat up the air when the engine is cold; they exist solely to make starting easier. Some diesels don't even have glow plugs, they use grid heaters instead.
I've been a happy Joker customer for years. I started having DNS issues the middle of last week so I fired them off an email asking them if they were experiencing a DoS attack. Here was their response:
Dear Sir/Madam,
thank you for your email.
Unfortunately there is a DDOS Attack on Joker.com Nameservers.
Joker.com currently experiences extremely massive distributed denial of service attacks against nameservers.
This affects the DNS resolution of Joker.com itself, and also domains which use the Joker.com nameservers.
We condemn this attack on the sharpest, at the same time our network department works very hard and does everything in order to achieve a permanent solution.
We are very sorry about this incident and for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Thank you for your understanding and with best regards,
If you use more methanol than is required you can recover some of it, but it's used in the reaction. You're not going to make over 5 gallons of biodiesel from 1 gallon of methanol.
You apparently missed the part where I said I filtered the palm. When I get the oil the particles are consistently 3 to 4 micron in size. I filter down to.5 micron. I wouldn't imagine parts like injectors and injector pumps would last long with the sanding effect of metal particles going through them. I guess that would give new meaning to porting and polishing your heads.
First off if you can find a source I could buy WVO from at only $.25 a gallon in So. CA, let me know . Every place I've talked to is about triple that. I'm able to get Palm from a manufacturing plant that's loaded with nickel particles which I filter and burn straight. Take my advice and stay away from Palm oil, it's a nightmare. I wish I could find a source for cheep WVO that is pourable at room temperature.
For the sake of argument, let's assume the WVO is free, the sodium/potassium hydroxide is free, etc, and our only expense in Methanol. It takes 1 gallon of methanol to make 4-5 gallons of Biodiesel. According to your math, I can buy methanol for $1.00 to $1.25 a gallon. Please let me know where this source is.
I don't know where you're getting you figures from but it sounds like a happy place.
The alternative is hydrogen, but as the Hindenburg demonstrated, hydrogen has its own problems.
No, the Hindenburg demonstrated that painting your blimp with iron oxide and aluminium-impregnated cellulose acetate butyrate dope is just not a good idea. These chemicals are also known as thermite/sold rocket propellent.
Direct TV had a site selling the ISO-7816 programmers confiscated and they took posession of all data and sales history. The site had a lot of hacking content on it. Direct TV in one swoop obtained a list of people to sue and evidence in the form of posts which only they own, so they could just replace people's signatures and make the evidence say anything they wish.
I guess the moral is if yuo're going to buy anything that can be used to copy another product, don't leave a paper trail. I wonder if I was to sue someone at Direct TV for buying paper (prove you didn't copy any of my copywritten articles) if I would either win or get a portion of the DMCA overturned.
Wrong court system. In civil court you have to prove your innocence.
A friend of mine was recently sued by Direct TV because he baught an ISO-7816 programmer. It's irrelevant that he didn't use it to hack Direct TV (he used it on Dish Network, but he could have used it for thousands of different applications). Under Civil law, and especially the DMCA, you have to prove you more than likely didn't do it. In my friends case Direct TV had apparently taken over a hacker website which was in their posession. Direct TV flat out replaced peoples signatures on these files with my friends name. They had him living in Canada in some posts, living in South America in other posts, and back home in America in others. My friends lawyer said at absolute best they could get that evidence thrown out, but they would just create more. Finally my friend listened to his lawyer and just paid Direct their $10K black mail fee.
These lawsuits are not about innocence/guilt. They are the new corporate profit model and scare people into submission at the same time. The DMCA allows these companies to file a lawsuit w/o a judges approval (previously required) and also lets them put dozens of victims on one piece of paper for one low cost court filing fee.

If that was true then the majority of Disney movies would be public domain.

Granted, you have to run FreeBSD or Solaris to access a ZFS pool locally.
I've been setting up servers using native ZFS on Linux for almost a year now. Previously I've used Nexenta (Debianized OpenSolaris) to get ZFS.

My experience with Cyrix chips was they crashed every 30 minutes no matter what OS you put on them.
It's a good thing that the Zettabyte File System (ZFS) stores more than a few zetabytes or we wouldn't be able to go swimming anymore.

25%.... As a human, I'm going to plead the 5th.
When is Google going to start getting into the power business?
The phrase "Google founders invest in Nanosolar." on the home page of Nanosolar may be of interest to you.

I think we should all start a church. The Church of the Super Paranoid, or something like that.
My vote is for the Church of the Super Sweet Leaf
