By your own logic, that added H2O will be out of the atmosphere in weeks. Nevermind that we don't have equilibrium, so we have this thing called weather. And we can't ever have equilibrium because of the energy balance is always changing.

What if, heaven forbid, the CO2 release was a natural result of warming? Say you're coming out of an ice age (we are) and you thaw peat bogs and tundra (it's happening) that naturally increases CO2.

You can't argue for static CO2 content or temperature, because due to orbital characteristics, we'll never have equilibrium. So you're arguing for something that never existed nor could ever exist. That's why we don't have to worry about it. Because doing so is meaningless.

Then recall that water vapor is 10x more common than CO2, then recall that CO2 is not concentrated at the surface, where we are concerned about the warming. CO2 does warm the upper atmosphere a few fractions of a degree, but not anywhere that matters for glaciers, sea level rise or malaria.

1+2 = AGW, fine, but don't forget to multiply by 0.00039445% (0.039445%), which is the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.

Computer the long-term specific heat trends of the oceans (80% of surface)on 11 year solar and 26,000 year precessional cycles,

Then argue that it's the high-altitude 0.039445% of the atmosphere and not the oceans that dominate weather at the surface.

Keeping in mind that the water vapor is far more potent greenhouse gas, and is 0.4% of the atmosphere (over 10x more common than CO2) which can be found on all three states in proximity to the surface.

If the worker's aren't aligned in vision, with clear decision making capability then everyone goes off in their own direction.

The findings aren't new, I've been interested in the topic for some time. Every story I read about women being put in a "man's" position indicates that they (broad generalizing here) are not comfortable making executive decisions.

So in effect, this means you don't want women in leadership roles, at least when it comes to accomplishing anything. (Again, broad generalization -- I've worked with quite a few assertive women who really did impress me, and I was very happy to work with, but for 9 out of 10 times they won't)

Never mind that the damn tiles UI is more about wasting space than putting display space to good use. I predict the DPIs will go higher the panels bigger, just to accommodate this lousy aesthetic.

Microsoft shouldn't be in the position to push aesthetics anymore. At one point they needed to push usability, but this goes far beyond that, resulting in something less usable. I rather like the special effects for movies, which I find are logical and innovative. At most Mocrosoft should support some skinning interface the way Qt apps do so that the USER or VENDOR gets to force their design on something. Given that MS still has lousy fixed-geometry windows all over in Windows 7, I vote no confidence in MS to deliver anything really usable.

Windows Phone will fail (sorry Nokia) and Win 8 will fail. It's not your call anymore Microsoft. And what you are pushing is too different. Remember the XP backlash of GREEN start button and RED [X]? That at least could be argued as usability enhancements. Now Metro goes the other way and decreases usability.
