    PCs will be relics when the internet will have the same bandwidth and be as responsive as a locally based system. And seeings God's roadmap on speed of light's increase, we're not nearly there for responsivity.

    SUN Microsystems can make the claim again when I can play a decent FPS on some of their hardware.

    BTW, calling from China to Canada is about few cents per minutes, not $1

    No one realized that one key feature--a great UI--would set it apart and allow Apple to dominate the industry
    It's not such a great UI.

    No real power button is a poor idea if there is a slight chance that the OS might hang, which is the case.

    The fonts are too big and don't allow to see most of the song's title

    There's no way to fast seek a song in a 4000+ list, you will have to accelerate the scrolling and will overshoot.

    If I select an "Artist" for which no songs are marked as being in an "Album", I should not have to select "All"

    Skype does instant messaging. Unless gtalk does provide VoIP integrated with the POTS, there's no way I going to run a second programme.

    Perfect example: Our customer service department has a rotating "on-call" person. They have a calendar in which they organize who's turn it is. I query the DB once a day to let my Asterisk server know who to redirect the call to. Totally seamless, and that's just a small small example.
    That's what shared mailboxes are made for.

    When I see ads in Gmail for apartments not just in my hometown, but in my district (Brussels Europarliament), when I have actually been looking for appartments in that district, *though not through google*, I am not certain spyware has been exagerated except by the people who wrote them.
