I need Some Extra RAM to fix me up ...

I have to cough it up
Open my wallet up, it never stops, never stops, never stops, never stops

    Its Windows 95
    It's sucking up my drive
    It makes a Pentium fly

    But my PC is obsolete
I'll have to buy myself a brand new machine .... (ring it up)

    Just stick me up
You suck me in then you got me hooked .... you got me, you got me

There's so much stuff to buy
I need a new hard drive

    I'ts gonna suck me dry
My 386, Don't have the speed
It takes an hour just to bring up the screen ...

Oh no ... I 'm making software buys.

There was this great line from the first Red Dwarf novel. I can't find the exact text online, this is how I remember it. It takes place before the 3 million year sleep, right after Lister comes on board and Rimmer is addressing him and the rest of his shift.

Lister: I'd like to be transferred to another shift, sir.
    Rimmer: Why?
Lister: With all due respect, sir, I think you're mentally unbalanced.
Rimmer: There's always one in every group, isn't there. One idiot, one loser, one psychpath.
Lister: Yes sir, but he isn't usually in charge.

I agree that there are some children with real mental problems that need professional treatment. The problem is that we are getting to the point where ALL children are being treated that way. Drugs are being given to children who don't need them because adults don't want to have to deal with thier naturally overactive personalities instead of teaching them that there is a time and place for different kinds of behavior. Constant counseling given to genuinely 'bad' kids who learn that they can do anything they want and get no punishment at all except having to BS their way through a talk with a boring old guy every few days.

I respect Rockstar's right to make any game they want. After all, this is America and everyone has the right to say what they want or create any work they want, regardless of how I or anyone else feels about its content.

I also have to say that I am completly disgusted with Rockstar for making a game that glorifies bullying regardless of whether it causes anyone who plays it to start bullying. I don't believe that GTA had much of an effect on people who played it, but lets face it, bullying is a far more accessable activity to the average grade-schooler than carjacking and cop-killing. I would very much like to see somebody, preferably Rockstar, make a game where you fight against bullies.

Rockstar has its freedom of speech and so do I.
