    You could actually be on to something there - sounds damn fun, first actually useful idea for games on a cellphone I've heard

    To extend it - I'd rather have it as virtual environment googles or helmet with surround sound that you could use to overlay virtual object (trolls ? the aforementioned orb) on the real world - sort of a VR HUD, that would be cool.

    Imagine the fun you could RPG'ing in an empty carpark building with that.

    Time for someone to mention porn now ...

    Install a nice linux desktop with Evolution/KMail + any browser and everything will be at least as integrated as on Windows.

    Done it - bullshit. Latest everything on gnome/kde is nowwhere near as integrated or consistant as windows.

    Having said that - I still prefer KDE to windows despite the quirks because it is transparent, and some things are just plain great, KDevelop is a joy to use compared to DevStudio, which used to be my favourite IDE.

    Also 50% of israelis support ejecting the palestinians from palestine - ethnic cleansing. Thats also the offical position of the religious nutcase faction of the ruling government

    if you look at Microsoft's profits year to year, they tend to have profits primarily in only one sector: the OS. Office is the only other sector that has any net profits, but it's a DISTANT second.

    Uh - wrong way round - Office is *THE* big revenue stream for MS, the Operating Systems are definatly running into diminishing returns

    The author isn't very knowledgable. Quota's for email can be implemented without breaking existng email clients. SMTP allows Authentication via certificates to be layered on top or, most email clients allow SMTP send with authentication.

    Bollocks - the mail guru's who maintain this stuff are mostly volunteers and are not interested in making money off spam/protection. Thats an insult to them.

    That specifically excludes the largest source of greenhouse gasses - domestic animal farts, aka "methane", of which India & china are huge sources.

    Its a such a significant problem that New Zealand is considering a genetically engineered bacteria that lives in a cow or sheeps gut that will reduce methane production by 30% - this pretty much covers New Zelands Koyoto commitments.

    I wonder how the green party (part of the government in kiwi land) will cope with that ?

    - reducing greenhouse gasses good ...

    - GM bad ...

    - Baaa! baaa !

    They'll probably go with "GM Baaaad...", logical thinking and compromise is not their strong point
