    To all those purists who bitch about Jackson cutting Bombadil or the Scouring - consider what might have happened if Tolkien had done the adaption, e.g in one of his letters discussiing selling film rights he suggests cutting the entire Helms Deep scene as unnecessary.

    Tolkien was a pragmatist, I suspect him and Jackson would have got along just fine.

    Stem cells are the consumption of another human being's cells to aid your own life. That is cannibalism. Some people have a problem with that. Some people what to give that a pass.

    So are you going to pass on any blood transfusions, even if they would save your life ?

    That has to be one of the more dumb ass reasons against stem cell research I have ever heard.

    Tried to downlaod the 250mb demo of 2005 and what do I find ?

    "Borland is providing a download manager on all HTTP downloads in order to improve your download experience"

    What a load of bollocks. I can't use my own perfectly good download manager to schedule a download for later tonight now ! we don't have the bandwidth to do this during the work day. And the stupid java applet crashed Firefox. I had to kill the process before doing any more browsing.

    Improve my down load experience my ass - all its done is create a pain in the ass and remove a perfectly ok functionality that existed previously. Its a classic example of borland beauracracy.

    You will see that quote in the odd holocost rhetoric, but try and get any Israeli minister to refer to the Aremenian holocost. The offical Isaeli position is that it was a "Tragidy", not a holocost or an attempt at genocide.

    No they have not. And they fight against efforts to recognise the genocide (not only in Turkey, but in other countries as well.)

    Israel - that shining bastion of democracy in the middle east refuses to acknowledge the armenian genocide ever happened.

    Partly its because Turkey is a ally, but its also its a trademark thing, the Israeli government dislikes any other ethic groups using the term "Holocaust", thats reserved for Jews.

    Wrong on both counts - there are many intellectualy disabled people who can't speak - thats due to mental limitations, not physical disabilites.

    animals do communicate, with a vocabulary - just not ours, see recent studies on dog communications

    Terminal services require you to pull a full desktop from a remote server.

    Wrong
    X allows one to pull individual single applications that display as if it were running local

    So does terminal server
    WAAAAYYYY better than Terminal Server IMNSO.

    Try X over a modem or even adsl connection - its painful whereas TS and Citrix are very usable

    Semantics - sure mass below Chandrasekhar cannot become a black hole (without help), but that does not mean that a mass *above* the limit can. It could have sufficeint mass to become a neutron or quark star.

    Chandrasekhar limit refers to the mass where atoms break down, not to where black holes form.

    There's so many errors in your answer that the though of addressing them is too depressing for words. Just to start off, as your own link indicates, the Chandrasekhar limit does *not* define the neccessary mass for a blackhole.

    The rest, do some reading ... this is stuff I read up on when I was twelve.

    Step 6 - consider that only a small part of the suns radiation is in the am band we use

    Step 7 - consider that if the suns radio output was as powerfull as a am station output on the earths surface then we would be able to hear the am station, ergo am station broadcast enough wattage for the suns interferance not to be an issue.

    Those that are running local servers or use it for IPC - it very common.
