    Or do as the Permaculture http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permaculture/ folks do, and use whte cover, afalfa or similar Nitrogen fixing plants as a ground cover to keep away the weeds. This technique was actually first pioneered by Fukuoka.

    This story smells like hyperbole, as G+ has actually been blocked on and off here in China since its inception. Probably Taiwanese or overseas Chinese spamming up Obama's shit. Even if it were true it's hardly news-worthy anyway.

    There are a lot of other cheap chinese brands making similar projectors. I bought one from the factory making for Lumenlab, for 300 usd. It's noisy as hell but great for wii games or watching tv.

    The Panasonics are supposedly pretty eco friendly as well, check more here: http://panasonic.biz/pc/recycle/index.html (japanese). They seem to be pretty low on that list though, but guess that includes all their cheap-ass electronics as well. ^^

    You should try China, only one ISP here, and you are not even allowed to use more than 1 computer at a time on it. And not to mention the censoring, but thats something the slashdot crowd knows all about i guess. It is cheap as fuck though.

    The chinese one works very good actually, and most Chinese are so brainwashed that they don't have any desire to search for info other than what the government approves. That is my impression from living there for 5 years. Truly a scary place.

    I'm living in China and reading it just cracked me up, this is exactly the way they speak on CCTV9 (the english news channel here), And recently have been forced to read the same type of BS, ever since the cables broke in Taiwan and almost no foreign news sites have been available. for an example of what i mean check english.sina.com - hilarious sometimes

    And whats even worse it's seems like most chinese willfully goble most of all the propoganda they are fed on a daily basis. Cause they are so brainwashed that they simple don't know better.

    Another funny thing is if you try to talk to them about something wrong in China or with the government here, they will usually deny it, cause for them the worst thing is to lose face, especially to foreigners and on behalf of their country.

    Naturally the above issues are not as severe in the younger generation, although most of them are still severely nationalistic/patriotic even if they don't like the government. So the brainwashing from they are little kids are still working to a degree I guess.

    I think it is not possible at this moment for Asia to communicate north to south.


    I'm in northeast mainland China, The only place i can download BT from, although painfully slow, is Australia and NZ. And I'm able to use my Anti-censorship VPN proxy in sweden, so can at least get my wiki, although surfing without images on most of the time. seems like the main problem is connection to the US, as all websites there, are still almost inaccessible.

    Concerning bittorrent: I seems like home connections are blocked for incoming connections, and thus results in very slow upload, but everytime you go a netcafe, the speed is incredible. wonder why

    Don't know where you are, but here in Qingdao, Shandong province; nothing wikipedia is accesible.

    Seems like they just open it in a few places, to get the western media to report how open they are before the olympics. ****ing ***holes!
