I think he was talking NOW, You are talking about 'BEFORE', as in "one f**** billion years ago"
It's like crediting the Italians with s**t the Romans invented.
btw. anybody know if the Wii is coming to china?, was playing to buy a japanese one but now that the region codes are back might have to spring for a european or american. But will probably be missing a lot of quirky/brilliant japanese games though.
Anybody know if the Wii will be released in China? Cause the gamecube never got released here, and instead we got the iQue which is like a souped up N64. Although the DS has Chinese games and is released here. So hopefully that means Nintendo has embraced and can't afford to ignore the huge chinese market.
Could somebody post the microsoft ones to youtube? , as google video doesn't work in a lot of countries, whats that about anyway? its not like google don't have the money for the bandwidth.
Dont forget about the panasonics http://www.panasonic.com/catcomputer/. Some of the most reliable laptops i've had, and they are considered the most durable and light. But a bit pricey though.
If they implement any of this, it will be another win for the Wii. which i might say makes me very happy ^^ as there is nothing i would rather see than Sony dying a slow painful death, and this is from someone who 5 years ago, bought a "luxury" sony discman. Just goes to show their decline.
I recently went to Japan, and the prolifiration of the DS is just crazy there, everywere you see people of all ages. playing with DSs. So i think what is happening is more previously non-gamers are turning into casuals, and more casuals are turning hardcore.
Myself included, I have never owned a console before, but recently i bought a GBA, and a few games and was mostly a 'casual', but then i bought a flashcard (http://www.supercard.cn/) and couldn't stop playing constantly. That has since wore off, and now i rarely play anymore. but now my gf has taking over and is playing like crazy. So i think a lot of people are changing between being hardcore and casuals in different periods of time.
I'm still here for economic reasons, runnig a company with my gf..
so come to think of it I am actually here for the same reasons Yahoo is, except they dont have a gf ^^.
And actually i have really mixed emotions about being here as i am indirectly helping the chinese economy. Although when the people have more resources they are better equipped to stand up to the government. Although the outlook doesnt look good as most chinese just want to get more bling.
I'm living in China now, and most people are just busy making money.. not only the poor ones who don't have time to worry about any kind of political stuff. But also the rich people seems like they just care about making more money.
I am in China right now and i can read slashdot, actually the things they block the most are porn sites and sites with the word "blog" in them. so annoying.
To me it is pretty much on-topic, as chinese actually kill people for spreading what they call "society de-stabilising" information or whatever. I'm too lazy to search for links, but i know yahoo gave up at least 3 or 4 journalist/bloggers/people up to the chinese government. And you kills mofo all the time for even offences, just ask Amnesty International.
I'm actually living in China now, so i see on a daily basis how fucked up the society. and how they lie to people. and it just scares the hell out me.
Somebody buy him Cooking mama for the DS or the Wii.
Btw. check some Wii screens from the game here: http://www.gamesarefun.com/news.php?newsid=6950/
Isn't that that the name of the tectonic plate? I think the most widely used name is Oceania
Fake tits don't flop back and forth last time I checked, except the ones they make in Japan - but thats another story....

Do you have any sources for that number, i heard they only kill around 15.000 a year so it would take a long time to get to 77 million.
