    Why not pay artists for their work in the way the rest of us get paid? Agree to do a project for a certain price, agreed upon beforehand? Artists that delivered good stuff would be sought after to do more projects for more money. Technology has certainly made this way of doing things easier.

    Bits aren't a commodity... and they aren't worth money, sorry. However I fully believe that people's work is worth money.

    I think Blizzard knows there are people that share your opinion. And I don't think they care. They know enough people will buy the game for them to remain successful.

    I think the working definition of "programming" has changed over time. Or at least, there has been the emergence of a new type of programming... "system programming." There is a lot of lower-level stuff that is now taken for granted.

    Maybe in the future things will be built arbitrarily high, so vertical real estate is not at a premium. The only expensive real estate is horizontal footprint. This is kinda like it is now in big cities. As far as effectively using the space though, I agree, totally ridiculous on the retractable/stowable stuff. Looks cool, though.

    Correlation is not subject to bias. It's just data. Look at the data however you want. No scientific process has been performed at that point to analyze the data and refine hypotheses based on it. So no, it doesn't "gesture furtively." That's your interpretation and bias. If not, you better take it upon yourself to let pregnant women with heart disease and diabetes know that they are very likely to have a black child!

    "Anonymous" is in reference to the Anonymous meme (n), rather than the named person actually being anonymous (adj), which as you pointed out, would be ridiculous.
